A Day in the Life

Support the Omni-Channel Marketing Director in planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns for key sales and promotional events. With an omni-mindset, bring to life the SalonCentric brand across all channels; Store, Street, Ecommerce and App, ensuring plans align strategically across online and offline vehicles. Drive campaigns to grow sales and build customer loyalty through successful implementation of traffic-driving programs, compelling promotions, impactful in-store merchandising and marketing support.
This position requires cross-functional collaboration with multiple internal and external business stakeholders including Digital Marketing, Omni Operations, Visual Merchandising, Education, channel teams, brand teams and outside vendors.

Requirements

·      At least 5 years of relevant marketing experience in Retail (visual merchandising, store marketing, copy writing), Brand Management and/or Advertising / Promotional agency (account management).
·      Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams.Proactive and persistent in driving projects to completion and following up on deliverables from other departments. Resourceful in seeking out information and identifying solutions to problems.
·      Multi-tasker able to work in a fast-paced environment and accelerate multiple projects simultaneously while remaining detail-oriented & deadline-driven.
·      Team player with strong interpersonal skills. Able to interact professionally with all levels of management, brand partners and outside vendors.  Able to mobilize others to achieve results.
·      Able to provide clear creative & copy direction and provide constructive feedback to enhance impact and effectiveness of communication.
·      Bachelor’s Degree – Marketing, Advertising, Business or Retail Management preferred.
·      Occasional travel required for store visits and meetings.

Responsibilities

Planning, Production and Delivery of Merchandising Materials  
·      Manage production and delivery of monthly store marketing materials, including creative brief, proofing, managing timelines and coordinating logistics.
·      Create signage for drop-in deals; Will be accountable for ensuring all signage is accurate, complete and communicated in a timely manner.
·      Provide clear creative and copy direction, critically evaluating creative to optimize visual impact and effectiveness in a retail environment.
·      Source merchandising and promotional items from outside vendors.
·      Manage vendor payments, set up and purchase orders as needed.
Promote SalonCentric & Brand Initiatives
·      Manage marketing support of in-store events for Grand Openings, New Stores and Relocations.
·      Work with brands to identify merchandising and promotional opportunities, providing direction to optimize brand merchandising materials and coordinating logistics of production and delivery.
Assist with Internal / External Communication of Marketing Programs
·      Manage internal social media account as field team resource.
·      Collaborate with Customer Experience Team including CRM, Social Media, Education, Site/App and Publication to promote events and drive traffic via offline and online vehicles.
·      Partner with Visual Merchandising and Store Operations teams to create weekly/monthly communication on what marketing material stores will receive.
·      Assist with planning internal events, including branding and directional signage, sourcing materials and giveaways.
Optimize Effectiveness of Marketing initiatives
·      Monitor key competitors and identify best retail marketing & merchandising practices staying abreast of new technologies that are being successfully used in retail environments.
·      Analyze results of Marketing programs and share key learnings with internal teams as well as Brand partners.

Manager – Accounts Receivable Business Expert, Project Burger

This is a high-impact role with significant responsibility for transforming L’Oréal’s IT landscape while ensuring uninterrupted business operations and unlocking new capabilities. You will lead the Blackline related aspects of the Burger implementation. Your success hinges on fostering strong collaborations with business units and IT teams across L’Oréal USA/Canada and SalonCentric.

    • Align Blackline AR functionality to the objectives with L’Oréal USA / Canada / Salon Centric’s broader business strategy and global Burger project.
    • Proactively identify and address implementation obstacles, offering viable solutions to keep the project on track.
    • Align Blackline AR functionality to be NEO / S4 Compliant
    • Collaborate with the Blackline, Process Out and OMS Product owners.
  • Project Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
    • As part of the Burger Project team, contribute and actively participate in the L’Oréal USA/Salon Centric Burger Steering Committee, providing clear communication on project progress, risks, and decisions.
    • Proactively identify and address implementation obstacles, offering viable solutions to keep the project on track.
    • Align Blackline AR project objectives with L’Oréal USA/ Canada /Salon Centric’s broader business strategy, including the OCS (Omni-Channel Supply Chain) and NEO transformation initiatives.
  • Blackline AR Implementation & Optimization:
    • Define and implement the processes required for the successful Burger implementation of the Blackline AR, ensuring it meets current and future business needs for the following:
      • key activities related to Accounts Receivable (AR) processes and payment, sales and settlement reconciliation and business functions
      • Integration of Blackline and Azure Paas for aggregations.
      • Remediation of Blackline AR for S/4
    • Anticipate future business and technical requirements, including integration with existing systems like SAP (including potential migration to S4), Process Out (payment service provider platform), OMS, 3PL platforms, and other POS systems.
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications in alignment with the Burger program.
  • Technical Expertise & Testing:
    • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans to ensure the Blackline AR meets functionality, performance, and integration requirement as part of the Burger and NEO remediation.
    • Develop and maintain documentation for configurations, customizations, and business processes.
    • Collaborate closely with IT and technical teams to ensure seamless system integration and data flow.
  • Project Management Excellence:
    • Manage the project plan, meticulously tracking progress, CapEx and OpEx expenditures, and ensuring alignment with the business case assumptions.
    • Lead change management efforts, effectively communicating changes and ensuring smooth adoption across the organization.
    • Provide ongoing support during the Blackline AR NEO remediation, ensuring the achievement of defined success KPIs.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of proven experience in project management, ideally with a focus on supply chain or IT implementations.
  • Prior experience with Blackline or a similar AR reconciliation platform is highly preferred.

Things You’re Skilled In:

Proven sales expertise (2-3 years minimum experience) with exceptional presentation, communication (selling and closing skills), facilitation skills.  Collaborating and being a great teammate.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

Leverages PPD (Professional Products Division) and SalonCentric resources and assets to realize PPD sales growth in territory by expanding existing accounts and generating new accounts; responsible for achieving sell-in and sell-through goals for PPD products.

Partners with distributor sales consultants (DSCs), StateRDA store owners and store associates/SalonCentric franchise stores and salons to achieve brand goals and objectives as determined with PPD brand managers and AVP Territory Development.

Manages strategic sell-in, special buys, and pre-selling of all major launches and initiatives presented by the brands.

Works with salons to increase service to retail sales, pre-booking and other business methods supported by Summit.

Coordinates and partners, with education and PPD teams, on in-store and in-salon educational programs to meet sub-distributor sales objectives and support launches/promotions within territory.

Assists with selling local, regional and national programs, classes and events.

Works with StateRDA/SalonCentric franchise owners, DSCs and store employees to schedule and coordinate brand programs within territory including sales meetings and other special events; executes monthly sales meetings and webinars to motivate, educate and influence PPD brand placement.

Provides support to sub-distribution field sales including sales consultant ride-alongs, detailing, special account calls and national initiatives; facilitates local trainings of sales consultants and store employees as needed.

Creates and tracks local promotions and programs for stores in territory using budgets established with Brands and AVP; communicates promotions and initiatives in a timely and consistent manner.

Works/Collaborates with Business Development Manager, on territory and business analysis, achieving goals, objectives and budgets,  strategic planning; coordinates forecasting and presells.  Communicates to AVP, VP and stores on findings and leverages findings/analysis to improve sales.

Attends and supports national shows and sales conferences, quarterly regional planning meetings, and distributor shows and events as directed.
