Assistant Manager – Content Commerce

About the Team
Meesho’s content commerce team is a relatively new team that directly contributes to Meesho’s GMV/ NMV. This team works on identifying opportunities in the influencer economy to leverage them for Meesho’s growth. As part of the team, individuals work on exciting new problem statements & contribute to Meesho’s content strategy across various social media platforms.
About the Role
As an Assistant Manager in our Content Commerce team, you will work directly with the team leaders to own business-critical problems. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to identifying immediate growth levers, setting up processes, owning up their successful implementation and tracking key initiatives. Your end goal is to help us scale the Meesho Affiliate program from 1 to 10x. You’ll do this by brainstorming to identify new growth levers while coming up with ways to increase value from existing offerings. This role will contribute directly to the GMV/ NMV growth of Meesho.

What you will do

  • Own end-to-end problem-solving of your workstream including ideation & implementation
  • Manage external stakeholders who are our partners in the Meesho affiliate program
  • Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders from Product, Operations, Legal teams to deliver on the defined business objectives, and drive program adherence with relevant teams
  • Analyze trends in Content Commerce and identify levers to unlock opportunities to increase Affiliate revenue
  • Manage project schedules, remove roadblocks and keep processes running smoothly
  • Continuously solve edge cases with suboptimal outcomes due to current processes
  • Communicate regularly with senior management on status, risks, and change control
  • Improve processes for completeness and better efficiency
  • Dive deep into the complex details of the program
  • Present detailed problem definitions and solution to senior leadership and execute the solutions
  • Be involved in day to day tracking of business critical metrics and setting up full proof processes preempting any roadblocks

What you will need

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Exposure to e-commerce, sales and advertising
  • Experience in data analysis, either professional experience or through your education
  • Experience in sales and marketing is preferred
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate with all relevant stakeholders

Senior Associate – Experience

About the Role
We are looking for an analytical, independent and innovative problem solver to join the SCM team. As a Senior Associate, you’ll be responsible for driving programs related to building visibility of the L0, L1, L2 and L3 views of key supply chain metrics. To drive visibility and instrumentation, you’ll get complete autonomy in terms of the granularity that you would want to create. You’ll also be responsible for working with stakeholders from ground operations and process excellence teams for solving exciting problem statements apart from creating impact on metrics.

What you will do

    • Develop a deep understanding of each mile of the operations to identify opportunities for improvement in our logistics operations and supply chain processes especially in warehouse operations.
    • Conduct root cause analyses and evaluate tradeoffs between them using advanced data analytics tools (Advanced Excel, SQL, Python), Should be well-versed in SQL.
    • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) that are practical and effective, and track their on-ground implementation to ensure compliance and sustained improvement.
    • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement projects to optimize processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency in the Warehouse.
    • Collaborate closely with local counterparts in each FC to gain a deep understanding of their unique business challenges, scaling factors, and operational constraints.
    • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and ensure that improvements are sustained over time.
    • Own and conduct deep dive into key warehouse metrics and track daily/weekly/monthly trends.
    • Communicate ideas and key findings in a logical and structured manner to senior management and other stakeholders.

What you will need

    • Degree in STEM or other subjects with an analytical component. Candidates with 0 to 2 years of experience are welcomed to apply.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; experience with SQL, Python or any analytical tools is helpful. Knowledge in Appscript is appreciated.
    • Passionate about deep-diving into problems and driving changes in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves a mix of strategy, new opportunities identification, and program management. You will strategize and scale Meesho by developing collaborations between your team and product, tech, fulfillment, as well as other categories in business. Making impacts with data-backed innovative solutions is key to success in this role.
