Finance & Administrative Assistant
This part-time role reports into the Chief Services Officer supporting various financial and administrative tasks, including assisting with the annual and monthly close processes, transitioning accounting software systems, and ad hoc financial reporting. The position is based in Manhattan, NY, with the possibility of occasional remote work. It requires a 20-hour weekly commitment, offering flexibility in scheduling to be determined during onboarding.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain thorough records of all invoices, payment receipts, checks, bills, vendor files, and wholesale account documentation.
- Support the data transfer from Sage accounting systems to QuickBooks Online and assist in the implementation of QuickBooks.
- Contribute to financial reporting, including, but not limited to, cash flow projections, budget actualization, accounts payable aging reports, and financial modeling.
- Assist with reconciling financial data during the annual accounting close process.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Strong ability to multitask
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or Sage is a plus.
Madison Store Manager
As the Missoni Madison Store Manager, you will represent Missoni and be a proactive Sales professional who guarantees compliance with all procedures set by the Headquarters and aimed at managing the Store team ensuring that the business runs efficiently.
You are a professional in the fashion industry who is responsible for promoting the Brand discovery and loyalty.
You will have full responsibility for driving the performance of all your departments and ensuring the achievement of the store business goals. You will lead, develop, and motivate your team to deliver exceptional levels of client experience as well as to promote and enhance the brand in line with corporate policies and procedures.
The Madison Store Manager will report directly to the Merchandising, retail and planning Director.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales
- Achieve and exceed sales goals through showing outstanding selling techniques, clienteling, events, sourcing new customers and building strong relationships with existing customers
- Establish and implement Action Plans to achieve and develop sales for each product category and client segment.
- Implement and develop CRM initiatives to attract, recruit, develop, retain, and engage a clientele network for the store.
- Assign targeted quantitative and qualitative goals to SA and ensure they are achieved by communicating on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and provide constructive feedback
- Identify and develop the strengths of each SA, supporting professional growth through training and coaching.
Operations
- Ensure current policies and procedures are correctly followed and respected.
- Take all the necessary measures to ensure loss prevention and safety in the store.
- Oversee scheduling and payroll according to the needs of coverage for the business
- Actively support back of house operations including stock receiving & returns, stock inventories, daily/weekly/monthly routines
- Handle customer complaints, ensuring issues are resolved in time guaranteeing high level of customer satisfaction
- Accurately process all transactions, including the operation of Cash Register
- Manage and maintain stores budget
- Partner with operations team to order packaging, supplies and maintenance requests
- Support in assigning divisions of responsibilities within the sales advisor team
- Partner with operations to ensure organization of inventory is maintained during incoming and outgoing deliveries, end of season, transfers, cycle counts, etc.
Misc
- Monitor and maintain visual merchandising standards daily, ensuring that all products are properly displayed
- Support in recruiting and training the sales staff
- Keep updated with the fashion trends, know, and monitor business environment including local competition and communicate this information to the team.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Significant experience in retail or the sale of luxury goods.
- 3 to 5 years of successful experience in a managerial position.
