About the Role:
As a Product Manager at Motive, you will partner closely with other product managers, engineers, sales teams, and additional stakeholders to make our vision of connecting the world’s vehicle fleets a reality. In this role, we’ll be relying on you to own the success of mission-critical initiatives that will drive rapid company growth. In particular, you’ll need to quickly develop expert knowledge of our customers, our offerings, and the market. What You’ll Do:
- Become an expert in all things Safety at Motive, deeply learning all of the product surfaces
- Drive AI feature development forward, owning the end-to-end lifecycle of new features while also ensuring existing AI features perform to Motive’s high standard
- Proactively identify areas where documentation, support articles, or wiki pages are lacking sufficient clarity on product functionality and build a plan to fill gaps
- Get close to our customers to discover their needs and translate that into solutions that help them get more out of Motive.
- Develop new products to drive growth, increase engagement and increase retention across Motive’s Safety product
- Partner with business leaders from stakeholder teams on formulation and execution of strategy, vision and product roadmap
What We’re Looking For:
- 4+ years of experience in Product Management, specifically working with B2B enterprise customers
- Sufficient technical skills to understand how our products are engineered
- Some knowledge or willingness to quickly learn and understand AI / Computer Vision model functionality
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with different personality types and seniority levels
- High customer empathy, with a desire to get in the shoes of our customers
- Have high “EQ”; be even-keeled, flexible, and able to quickly adapt to unexpected changes

Technical Program Manager (Software)
About the Role:
The Technical Program Manager (TPM) role within the Motive Hardware organization is a role intended for those individuals who are willing to take total ownership of product development projects and drive them to a successful completion. The TPM will coordinate the contributions of a wide variety of internal FW teams to deliver projects on time, on budget, and within specification. Coordination with external teams may be required as well. The TPM will aid individual groups in creating time and resource estimates, tracking schedule and progress, creating and tracking test plans and responding to product issues found during testing. As the product matures, the TPM will aid the go-to-market process, helping organizations prepare for the launch of the product and also set up metrics and dashboards to monitor project success and health
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare formal project plans including schedules and deliverables, primarily from internal organizations, but may also include integration of external teams
- Administer a formal review process to validate each development phase has completed successfully, and the product is ready for the next phase
- Monitor progress of projects and report status, plans, and issues to management
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize schedule and technical risk
- Help validate that test plans are complete and that testing is completed successfully.
- Respond to issues that develop during the project by coordinating resolution amongst multiple groups.
- Coach engineers, Product Managers and leads on effective processes and best practices, including Agile development processes
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in the development and management of firmware for embedded products.
- Experience should include project scheduling, resource allocation, task management, risk management and other basic Program Management functions.
- Experience managing projects that include multiple teams at multiple sites.
- Experience managing outsourced firmware projects.
- Ability to lead without authority and prioritize effectively in ambiguous situations.
- Capacity to work in a fast paced, continuously changing environment.

Senior Product Manager, Equipment Monitoring

What You’ll Do
- Develop comprehensive product strategies and roadmaps for equipment monitoring solutions, balancing customer needs, market opportunities, and technical feasibility
- Engage directly with customers across various verticals to gather feedback, identify pain points, and synthesize insights, distinguishing between individual requests and generalizable needs
- Create detailed product requirements documents (PRDs) and work closely with engineering teams to scope and prioritize features, navigating technical trade-offs and business implications
- Support Engineering teams through the product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment between technical capabilities and business objectives
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and product performance metrics to inform data-driven decisions and drive continuous product improvement
- Collaborate with GTM teams to develop compelling product positioning, go-to-market strategies, and support sales enablement efforts
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of product management experience, with a focus on enterprise SaaS products and IoT solutions
