• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years proficient email development work experience (but we’re more about skill than tenure).
• Master of all aspects of email marketing and systems—template configuration and management, dynamic content, and queries for data extensions.
• Boss-level skills in Salesforce design and development and understand Salesforce platform features.
• Know Salesforce Marketing Cloud and all its channel (email, social, SMS) applications like the back of your hand. Familiarity with SFDC to SFMC Cloud connectors, and campaign tools (such as Content Builder, Interaction Studio, Campaign Studio). Smart enough to implement Einstein.
• Experience with email systems beyond Salesforce.
• Experience with JavaScript, Adobe Creative Suite, and integration with external systems (API).
• Working knowledge of AMPscript, jQuery, and Next.js and is a huge plus.
• Prior experience in the financial industry or an ad agency wouldn’t hurt.
