Myntra’s Category Speed business team aims to unlock incremental growth on the back of a reliable Sub-Same Day (SSD) & Same Day (SD) delivery service coupled with a choicest branded selection thereby offering a unique and differentiated merchandise for its fashion forward customers. Along with the speed of delivery, which is table stakes for quick commerce business, availability of the right selection will play a major role in its success. The Category speed business team will have its stakeholders in category, central planning, business finance, business analytics and supply chain and will primarily be responsible for rapid growth of this model.
Supply Lead – Assortment Design- Category Speed Business (M5)
- Assortment Design: The incumbent will be responsible for shaping selection design for SD/SSD business across all core and emerging categories to drive business growth, keeping in mind brand /article/style representation, depth of selection, sell throughs & conversions.
Business Design: Liaise with category and business finance to define and achieve the right business mix conducive for SSD & SD service Business growth: Ensure that Same Day and Sub Same Day business sees new highs every passing day through relentless focus on both NCs and repeats, selection availability, high sell throughs, faster recall, and robust customer experience; prepare a playbook for success in other cities

We are looking for a category manager to manage a group of brands in a portfolio for womens footwear category.
Role includes planning selection and inventory relevant for Myntra from across brands, devising
pricing and promotion along with relevant teams across Myntra to deliver the topline and bottom line
expected for the portfolio
Manage and maintain relationships with vendors and brands
This is a high-impact role and needs a candidate with a self-starter mindset, creative problem solving
and proven data analysis skills.
The goal is to increase sale and profitability of the assigned business to drive sustainable growth
Responsibilities:
Actively pursue category management through vendor management, pricing, inventory management
and sale optimization for the category and thereby for a group of products/brands falling under the
assigned category
Scaling the brands and the category on the platform with continuous work across selection, catalog,
marketing etc
Getting involved with commercial closures to work towards a P&L view of the business and the
category
Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors.
Liaise with pricing and marketing teams to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities
for a product category.
Manage inventory levels to maximize sales, procuring additional stock, and getting rid of excess or

Qualifications & Experience

Role:
Manage the entire sell side vertical for the Myntra Fashion Brands ( MFB) business across the
following functions – Sales planning, Pricing, Merchandising & visibility management, customer
planning, inventory hygiene & supply analytics
Handling a team of ~6 members
Analyse business level metrics to isolate problems/strength areas and drive long term projects to
solve/leverage for better ROI
Monthly/Quarterly sales planning to achieve the AOP in the respective time period
Overlooking all possible levers to meet revenue and customer targets across pricing, merchandising,
selection, marketing, with strong collaboration across the requisite verticals
Build a robust supply analytics system with regular feedback to the brand team on opportunities and
risks
Maintain rigour on Inventory hygiene and ensure business health is clear
An ideal candidate should possess sound analytical abilities, strong cross-functional collaboration
and business acumen
Responsibilities:
Build a category and brand wise revenue plan, and execute with short and long term solves

Strong Analytical Skills and Process Orientation- Proficiency in Excel is must
Senior Manager – Speed Operations
- Supply planning, maintaining inventory health across top selling selection for Fulfilled by Myntra (FBM) program
- Ensure that same day and sub same day selection availability through focus on high sell throughs, faster recall, interwarehouse transfer execution etc.
- Maintain target DOH optimizing excess stock, slow moving and obsolete stock through discount management, rebate coverage and pricing recommendation to sellers
- Set up the reporting process and manage inventory metrics for Event and BAU
- Liaise with category teams and marketplace sellers to ensure selection coverage and visibility
- 4+ years of relevant experience with e-commerce, category planning, instock management or consulting
- Engineering and MBA from Tier 1 College (2-4 year of experience post MBA preferred)
- Candidate needs to exhibit structured thinking, strong analytical skills and process/ data orientation.
- This is a cross-functional role and candidate should be able to drive results while working with diverse teams
- Proficiency in SQL, Advanced excel, BI tools
