Intern – Year Round (Digital Media)

Job Description

Gain hands-on experience in video production and photography, working on real projects that contribute to the team’s success. You’ll be involved in every step of the creative process, from planning to shooting and editing, while collaborating with seasoned professionals. This role offers a unique opportunity to enhance your skills, learn industry best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in setting up and capturing photo and video content during shoots.
  • Work with the Digital Media team to execute visual ideas for various projects, including event photography and video content.
  • Support the editing process by organizing raw footage and images.
  • Learn and assist with basic editing tasks, including color correction, audio adjustments, and applying visual effects.
  • Collaborate on creating final deliverables under supervision.
  • Organize, label, and archive all digital assets, ensuring that all files are stored in a systematic and easily accessible manner.
  • Assist in implementing backup procedures to protect digital assets.
  • Help maintain and organize camera gear, lighting equipment, and other production gear.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly cared for and ready for use during shoots.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative input on projects.
  • Assist in pre-production planning, including scouting locations, gathering gear, and scheduling shoots.
  • Hands-on experience with professional-grade cameras, lighting, and editing software.
  • Training on industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and Lightroom.
  • Participation in creative meetings, where you can pitch ideas and learn the creative process from conception to execution.

Investment Advisor

To provide financial consulting services to assist members and non-members with identifying their financial goals and objectives via telephone or video meeting. Act as a catalyst for the promotion and growth of NFIS productsand services. Recommend appropriate mixture(s) of insurance/investment productsand services to achieve the financial client’sgoals as a registered representative/advisor/agent of Navy Federal Investment Services (NFIS) and subsidiaries, or incumbent financial firms. Manage smaller dollar volume account size and less complex investment needs. Partners with and refers advanced financial planning needs to NFIS Financial Advisors when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide investment industry expertise to client investment consultations and servicing of life insurance and full suite of investment products
  • Administer and document account activity and execution in accordance with NFFG process and procedures and FINRA, NASAA, SEC regulations
  • Conduct review of accounts to communicate account status, explain activities and inform clients of new offerings
  • Develop an internal pipeline for smaller dollar volume accounts in compliance with Navy Federal and NFIS policies and procedures
  • Establish, maintain, and develop business relationships with members and internal/external sources
  • Execute customer and broker purchase/sales orders of securities for current/new clients
  • Identify prospective participation partners/opportunities through prospect calling, networking, and leveraging existing participation business

Member Service Representative (Full-Time) – Cleveland

o provide members and prospective members the full range of products and services offered by Navy Federal Credit Union including depository accounts such as checking, savings, certificate IRA, revocable trust and estate accounts; Lending products; and credit/debit cards. To perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision. Provide assistance/training to lower level team members.

Mortgage Loan Officer I

To interview and counsel members about first mortgage loans and to take mortgage loan applications. To establish and maintain personal relationship with members, and to guide and follow their mortgage loans from initial application through the loan closing process. To determine applicants’ qualifications; providing detailed information about Navy Federal’s mortgage and equity loan products; clarify complexities of the mortgage/equity loan process; and evaluate, personalize, and recommend financing alternatives. To build and maintain referral relationships with realtors, builders, and other centers of influence.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze referred loans for areas of concern and determine proper course of action (e.g. obtain explanations for derogatory credit)
  • Determine and advise members on approved loan conditions and documentation requirements
  • Ensure progress and inclusion of required mortgage processing information (e.g. verifications of employment, assets, income and liabilities; appraisal reports, Navy Federal and investor requirements, etc.)
  • Maintain contact with the member, Realtor and/or seller during the entire loan process
  • Monitor mortgage loan process and ensure compliance with Federal laws, as well as, Navy Federal, NCUA and secondary market practices, guidelines and regulations
  • Remain available to members and/or their real estate agents during scheduled evening hours after assigned work days and during scheduled hours on assigned days off (e.g. weekends)
  • Request and obtain documentation needed and forward to Mortgage Processor
  • Respond to inquiries about mortgage applications, processing status, problems and concerns
  • Seek and leverage opportunities to conduct outside marketing and promotional activities to members and potential members through financial presentations, local events and realtor/trade shows and events
  • Take first mortgage loan applications via face-to-face interview, mail and telephone
  • Resolve or arrange for resolution of operational/processing issues, inquiries and complaints
  • Respond to inquiries and resolve any issues concerning the processing of applications
  • Review application for completeness, data integrity and accuracy; determine if additional information and/or supporting documentation is required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently with automated systems
  • Familiarity with accounting, credit, and/or lending principles and techniques
  • Experience in member/customer service preferably in a related field/industry, such as realty, insurance, retail banking or financial institution
