Position Summary
- The Los Rios Community College District is seeking qualified candidates for various part-time, temporary positions. The specific position will be determined at the time of hire, based on the department’s needs.
This position is filled on an “as needed” basis for all campuses/locations. Applicants are contacted/hired year-round for assignments based on District needs. This pool is open continuously and refreshed once a year in July.

Paid Onsite Research Study
Description and Requirements
TELUS Digital is seeking participants for an onsite study. The study locations are in Glendale, Los Angeles, and Sunnyvale, in the San Jose area.
Task requirements:
- Earn $270-$395 for completing a 2.5-hour to 5-hour session.
- The shorter sessions are around 150 minutes, and the longer ones are around 395 minutes. Scheduling options for longer versus shorter sessions will be based on study needs and your eligibility criteria.
- Be photographed or video recorded following directives from our team for a total duration of up to 5 hours (including short breaks).
- Bring two different outfits for the session.
- One of the outfits must be clothing you would wear to the gym or when exercising (including sneakers, football, ballet, or yoga shoes).
- The other can be a formal or informal outfit but must be different from the gym clothing.
- Wear form-fitting compression tops and shorts provided on-site
- Agree to body composition measurements to be taken during the study
- You must be able to stand and perform physical activities during the study session (including independently climbing a flight of stairs and walking)
- All ages 18-75 are qualified to participate
- Must be able to read, speak, and understand instructions provided in English
- Must be a US citizen, legal permanent resident, or authorized to work in the USA (proof will be required)
Additional Job Description
During your session onsite, you will be photographed and video-recorded while performing basic movements, including walking, sitting, standing, and making different gestures or facial expressions. You might interact with props and furniture. The study will also collect photos, videos, audio, and measurements of the head, face, and hands in still and moving poses under various lighting conditions. Finally, a specialist will make an impression of your ear.
Study moderators will guide you during the session. The tasks can be easily completed by anyone and do not require prior experience or special skills.

We are constantly looking for Field Specialists to join our team on a freelance basis. This role will shadow pharmaceutical representatives for the day and prepare a report based on observations made while working with the representative as they interact with their customers. The positions are contracted on a daily basis, based on the size of the project and number of field days required. The position would be suitable for someone looking for part-time freelance and project-based work.
Responsibility:
- Contacting sales representatives to arrange a shadowing day in the field
- Observing interactions between sales representatives and customers without disrupting their day (either face to face or virtually)
- Conducting a 60 min interview during the field day
- Submitting structured reports (workbooks) after each day in the field based on observations made within 24 hours of field visit
- Attending 30-60 min online sessions prior to each project to understand the project objectives and share feedback
- Participate in project debrief calls and potentially provide feedback to assist in the development of final recommendations
Requirements:
- 7-10 years sales, marketing or market research experience within Pharmaceutical or Healthcare industries.
- Bachelors degree – marketing, science, or data focus is preferred.
- Availability to work on a freelance basis
- When working on a project, have 1-5 days availability during the week
- Flexibility to work from morning to evening
- Flexibility to travel within the country (approximately 50% domestic travel required)
- Good knowledge of Excel and typing skills
- Strong attention to detail and good listening skills
