WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will work closely with fellow merchants and cross-functional teams within global Consumer Merchandising, Nike Direct, Planning, Visual Merchandising, and Brand Marketing. At times working autonomously, agile, and solution-oriented, this role is responsible for driving the consumer product offering across the different merchandising dimensions. This role will bring the Kids seasonal assortment to life in Nike Stores. They will also influence the product offering End to End (from insights to adoption) as well as focusing on multi-season management of Nike’s most innovative franchises!   • Bachelor’s degree or higher, or combination of relevant education, experience, and training
  • 5+ years’ experience in merchandising, product creation and/or retail, in a vertical or wholesale environment.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

As a Lead Merchant, you will own bringing the Kids seasonal assortment to life in Nike Stores. You will understand related aspects of the business and marketplace in making your plans, including coordinating between genders, brands (Nike & Jordan) and how individual products or collections impact each other. You will collaborate cross functionally to ensure assortment plans meet consumer demand and strategies execute.

 

You will hone consumer-centric assortment plans across multiple seasons with an understanding of Nike Direct’s position in the market & competitive landscape to blend fact-based and intuitive inputs. You will participate in seasonal assortment reviews and influence actions to optimize future season plans and adoption by supporting Gender Merchandising Leadership and upstream partnership within Global Merchandising.

 

A consistent part of your day-to-day responsibilities will be the detailed management, maintenance and communication of all seasonal tools and assortments. NA Direct Senior Merchandise Planner

We’re looking for a Senior Merchandise Planner to join the Converse North America Direct Planning team. This individual will drive sales, profitability, and inventory through the product launched on converse.com and in our Converse branded stores. In this role, you will drive growth to achieve company financial plans while delivering the brand and geography priorities & vision. You will collaborate with North America partners to develop and execute cohesive strategies and process to optimize the Digital and Stores businesses. Using data-driven insights, you will initiate and proactively partner with teams to manage the product life cycle, inventory, and pricing to optimize the SKU productivity for the Direct business and build recommendations for the future.

 

The role requires someone who can be agile, roll-up their sleeves, and is excited by managing the fast-paced direct-to-consumer business. You have a passion for creating impact and can identify trends and synthesize demand signals to develop key highlights and action plans. YOU BRING

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

 

You will work alongside cross functional partners to build an area of the pre-season and in-season business to drive Converse Direct towards growth and profitability. To do this, you will:

  • Develop, communicate, and implement merchandise plans that maximize sales, margin and inventory to support financial targets
  • Create SKU-level sales, inventory, and buy flow plans aligned to strategic initiatives and targets
  • Develop ladder replenishment plans and action solutions to optimize inventory and sales
  • Proactively manage product life cycle and SKU capacity to maximize profitability and assortment offering with cross-functional teams
  • Build markdown recommendations and pricing in alignment with OTB targets and merchandising strategies
