Analyst, Operations Management, Paramount Advertising

Overview:

The Ad Operations team is a growing group of fun individuals responsible for the monetization of video content for Paramount’s Digital portfolio. We have touch points in almost all content from helping monetize entertainment series VOD all the way up to major events like CBS’ broadcast of the Super Bowl. The goal of the team is not only to traffic campaigns, but to be the ad server experts and help internal teams customize opportunities for clients, deliver campaigns, and drive revenue.

This role will Report to the Senior Director, Advertising Traffic. They will help with ad hoc reporting for senior management as well as help build a system of dashboards and automated processes designed to drive efficiency and accuracy for the ad ops team. Paramount ad trafficking is a complex system with many requirements from clients and add distribution partners that need of data points monitored daily. We are looking for someone with the knowledge and expertise to help drive solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide ad hoc reporting to senior management. This involves writing SQL queries for large data sets to identify business critical key performance indicators and building reports and dashboards directly from the data warehouse
  • Streamline business processes to mitigate problems that lead to revenue losses
  • Develop new and effective ways to monitor and report on highly complex digital media inventory
  • Partner with teams across the company to develop databases that will change the way we look at campaign optimization and trafficking
  • Monitoring Dashboards for optimization opportunities and campaign under delivery
  • Work on Artificial Intelligence projects that help streamline campaign management workflows and reduce redundancy and waste.
  • Build a real time monitoring dashboard to help ensure ads are started on time and delivered with accuracy.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree in a quantitative/ problem solving field (or equivalent training and experience)
  • 2+ years of related work experience
  • Strong skills in SQL, Python & JavaScript
  • Understanding of Database management

Additional Qualifications:

  • Cursory knowledge of digital ad delivery and trafficking
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (strong Excel skills strongly preferred)
  • Experience with online video ad formats such as VAST/VPAID is a plus
  • Experience in programmatic ad delivery

Hiring Salary Range: $60,000.00 – 65,000.00.

 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Broadcast Associate- CBS Sports Soccer (Freelance)

The Broadcast Associate will be responsible for a variety of production responsibilities to support our studio coverage. Responsibilities include coordinating graphics on studio shows, as well as sport specific research, especially CBS Sports Golazo Network, UEFA Champions & Europa League, Serie A, and Concacaf. The Broadcast Associate will also obtain, organize, and log video footage for use in shows and other production elements.

 

This is a Freelance position based in Stamford, CT. Non-traditional hours, nights, weekends, and holidays are to be expected, with some travel as needed.

 

Responsibilities:

• Act as Graphics/Font Coordinator on studio shows across our various soccer properties

• Research newsworthy events related to all our soccer properties

• Collaborate on high-end graphic and visual ideas for talent and studio coverage

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Experience in sports (internships or full-time)

• Hands-on experience producing a variety of sporting events (control room experience a plus)

Account Manager, Local Ad Sales MARKET

CBS Sacramento is looking for a dynamic Account Manager responsible for all facets of the business from aiding in the sales process to ensuring the delivery and stewardship of the deals. Coordinate the coverage of all short-term sales available inventory. Work with sales associates to complete movement of client inventory from one date to another, sell short-term available inventory and distribute audience deficiency units. Cover and back-up AE’s during their absence and assisting with any inbound client inquiries. Work with leaders across the station group to ensure flawless campaign and inventory management.

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Arrange make goods for program changes on all deals.
  • Prepare and update stewardships on all guaranteed deals.
  • Join and participate on sales calls with Account Executives (in-person and virtually).
  • Coordinate sales efforts with Account Executive; Work jointly with the team of Account Managers across VP’s team to ensure comprehensive support of Client Media/Activation.
  • Generate a regular flow of client information To VP’s Of Marketing and Account Executives.
  • Work with Marketing, Research and Promotion departments to develop tailored sales presentations.
  • Project manage and coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary elements for campaign execution. Reach out for missing assets, tags, and any needed approvals for custom assets.

Manager, Programming and Acquisitions

The Programming team is looking for a Manager of Film Programming and Acquisitions who will support the Director on all aspects of film planning, curation, scheduling and licensing for the Paramount+ movie library. We are looking for someone that will focus on films built for or licensed for the service, including managing partnerships and tracking titles from Paramount and Third-Party Studios. This role will work closely across internal teams such as Programming, Acquisitions, Rights Management, Finance, BALA, Content Management and Marketing to ensure accurate communication, execution, and maintenance on all library film titles in the service.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years in an acquisition, programming, content strategy or strategic marketing for streaming services, television, feature film or interactive media
  • Proven success collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage complex projects across diverse groups or organizations
  • Subscription VOD service experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly with senior executives and external partners
  • Experience using Jira, Airtable, or similar project management tools
  • Strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel (formulas, pivot tables, v lookups) skills

Additional Qualifications
