- Handle day-to-day requests and support general ongoing efforts of the Business Marketing Team.

Proposal Specialist
Perkins Coie is seeking a qualified and dynamic individual to take on the role of Proposal Specialist as part of a collaborative and supportive team of high-performing proposal professionals. The Proposal Specialist is responsible for coordinating, developing, and leading practice-specific proposals and related marketing and business development materials. This hands-on position will play a key role in proposal development activities, including fully supporting the Marketing Department and leading the team through a winning proposal.

Content & Copywriting Manager
Perkins Coie is seeking a qualified and dynamic individual to take on the role of Content and Copywriting Manager (CCM) whose responsibility it is to drive the delivery of highly effective content to achieve brand awareness, articulate the capabilities of firm professionals, promote our firm service offerings, prompt visits to our website and blogs, and improve SEO rankings. Responding to a high volume of demand originating across the firm, the CCM and the CCM’s direct reports support the marketing and business development team, lawyers, firm leadership, and others in developing and finalizing all manner of external-facing content, including high-profile special projects and client events.
This position will oversee a team of 3-4 members to process lawyer and client updates, review drafts, format documents, and liaise with authors and marketing and business development specialists to generate content such as web pages, professional bios, event communications, ads and other marketing assets.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develop a content framework and produce content of exceptional quality, including lawyer bios, collateral, website and advertisement copy, event assets, and more. The content strategy will include the following critical components:
- Implement content process improvements to assist communications and the wider Marketing and Business Development team to help the firm better prioritize high-impact content.
- Devise a framework and apply a systematic approach to planning, organizing, and producing content with a strong bias for continuous improvement in how the content team functions.
- Manage and mentor a team of 3-4 business professionals responsible for drafting, editing, and publishing all content.
- Manage and oversee the development of external-facing content for the firm, including high-profile writing assignments related to marketing and business development efforts, advertising, and partner bios.
- Review and edit lawyer-authored client updates to ensure they comply with editorial standards. Set editorial guidelines for the tone and tenor of all market and client-facing content and ensure consistency across mediums.
- Collaborate with the broader marketing and business development team, Design, Marketing, HelpDesk, and other colleagues to develop appropriate, effective communications, including special projects.
- Manage and maintain the firm’s style guide and conduct regular training for colleagues and internal stakeholders on firm communication style.
- Provide communications oversight for various content types including blog, website, and client updates (working in partnership with Director of Operations); expand thought leadership capabilities and activities to drive and industrialize content generation and campaigns.
