Product Management Intern (Summer 2025)

Reddit’s Emerging Talent program is ready for our next cohort of interns, and we need a Product Management intern to join our crew – our Ads Brand & Platform team! This team drives all ad formats at Reddit – utilizing Gen AI & LLMs to improve ad creatives. This team is on a mission to build compelling ad formats that leverage Reddit’s unique user behaviour. Responsibilities

Work on projects that impact the business. You’ll gain exposure to how an experienced product team works, from sprint planning to launching new features.

Contribute to the betterment of Reddit, whether that be through fostering new and existing communities, building out our ads platform, delivering relevant new content to our users, or a number of other projects we have in the works.

Be mentored by experienced Product Managers from all backgrounds. From bootcamps to universities, small to medium and large companies, you’ll work with Product Managers of many different experiences and levels. You’ll have a formal mentor on your team guiding you throughout the summer as well!

Required Qualifications

  • Actively working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • Graduating between December 2025 and June 2026, with less than 2 years of professional work experience
  • You have a history of building things and can explain them in depth
  • You’re comfortable finding a path forward in ambiguous situations
  • You’re an active user of Reddit and are familiar with the aspects of the service
  • You’re over the age of 18 and authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications

  • A desire to work at a Reddit office in SF or NY over Summer 2025
  • SQL knowledge for analytical capabilities
  • Previous Product Management experience

Pay Transparency: The base pay range for this position is $50 – $60/hour.

Data Science Intern (Ads)

Work on projects that impact the business. You’ll gain exposure to how a real data science team works, from developing experiments to creating business cases.

Be mentored by experienced Data Scientists from all backgrounds. From bootcamps to universities, small to medium and large companies, you’ll work with data scientists of many different experiences and levels. You’ll have a formal mentor on your team guiding you throughout the summer as well!

Contribute to the betterment of Reddit, whether that be through making it easier to create content on Reddit, serving up relevant content to users, fighting evil on the site, improving our mobile apps, or a number of other projects we have in the works.

Required Qualifications

  • Actively working towards a Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related fields
  • Graduating between December 2025 and June 2026, with less than 2 years of relevant professional work experience
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (eg. R, Python, Java, Ruby, Scala/Spark or Perl)
  • Ability to translate complex findings and results into a compelling narrative.
  • Curious or driven by data analysis (strong analytical skills)

Machine Learning Intern (Summer 2025)

Work on projects that impact the business. You’ll gain exposure to how a real engineering team works, from sprint planning to shipping code. As a MLE intern you will also be exposed to scalable systems that handle the complexity and volume of Reddit’s vast user base and content.

Be mentored by experienced engineers from all backgrounds. From bootcamps to universities, small to medium and large companies, you’ll work with engineers of many different experiences and levels. You’ll have a formal mentor on your team guiding you throughout the summer as well!

Contribute to the betterment of Reddit, whether that be through making it easier to create content on Reddit, serving up relevant content to users, fighting evil on the site. MLE’s work on designing, implementing, improving, testing, and launching new model enhancements to boost user engagement.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6+ years of non-internship, full-time, hands-on, professional software development experience developing software in one or more front end focused programming languages; Javascript, Typescript, ES6.
  • Experience with one or more front-end web frameworks such as LIT, Polymer, React, Vue, or Angular with experience with CSS.
  • Strong hands-on professional experience with GraphQL, REST, HTTP, Thrift basics, and the ability to design and implement maintainable APIs is a plus.
  • Experienced with distributed caching layers, and distributed large scale data storage systems.
  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks and to deliver projects on schedule.
  • BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
