What you’ll be doing
- Building and optimising scalable processes to continue Revolut’s hyper growth
- Leading and executing (end to end) core infrastructure projects
- Exploring and defining which projects the team should prioritise, and setting a timeline to reach goals quickly
- Searching for new features to provide a seamless customer experience
- Managing critical vendor relationships and building performance tracking systems
- Developing strategic supply chain partnerships and negotiating commercial terms
What you’ll need
- At least a 2:1 degree from a top university
- 2+ years of work experience in a fast-paced environment
- Hands on experience on coding on SQL/Python or R is mandatory
- Solid track record of taking ownership and leading complex projects end-to-end
- A magic skill to break complex problems into smaller ones and enjoy working with data
- Natural curiosity and will to make an impact

About The Role
The Risk team at Revolut plays a crucial role in monitoring and ensuring the safety of our operations. They work across various areas, including functions, products, and regions, to assess front-line performance and maintain secure footing for the business. Members of the Risk team are among the first to engage in new business initiatives, ranging from App Technology to Treasury and Finance, and even Customer Support.
As we expand our capabilities in model risk management, we’re seeking a Model Risk Manager with a keen interest in data analytics and expertise in ML/AI, particularly in applications to computer vision, AML/ATF, and fraud detection.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Contributing to providing key insights on material models to senior management and the Board Risk & Compliance Committee

- Supporting the provision of recommendations to model developers to mitigate risk
- Embedding and maintaining model risk management practices across the model lifecycle
- Improving the understanding of model assumptions, limitations, and outputs among senior management
What You’ll Need
- 4+ years of experience having validated and/or developed any of the following model types: Market Risk, Liquidity Risk, Capital Risk, Finance & Treasury, Financial Crime, or Data Science
- Solid working knowledge of Python and SQL
- Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work effectively under pressure
- The ability to operate autonomously and engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels
Nice to have
- Exposure to C/C++/Docker languages
- An understanding of the legislation and regulations related to model risk management in major jurisdictions
