The Tax Associate, International Income Tax Consulting is responsible for assisting in the preparation and review of income tax provisions and related financial statement disclosures in accordance with ASC 740. This role will work closely with the Tax Manager and the broader tax team to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of tax accounting principles and a keen interest in developing their expertise in tax provision processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of quarterly and annual income tax provisions, including the calculation of current and deferred taxes. Research tax issues and assist with tax audits.
- Assist in analyzing tax accounts, reconciling differences, and ensuring accurate tax balances.
- Contribute to the preparation of tax-related disclosures for financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Help maintain accurate and detailed workpapers to support tax provision calculations and compliance.
- Assist in the preparation of documentation for tax audits and inquiries.
- Work closely with the finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax provisions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1+ year experience in tax preparation (1-2 years of experience will do)
- Knowledge of U.S. Federal income tax is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Excel; work experience using tax preparation software and applications preferred.
- Written and verbal communication skills.

Summer 2025 Intern, Personal Property Tax – Houston, TX
We are looking for interns interested in state, local, federal, and international taxation. As an Intern you will work side by side with subject matter experts in a team-based environment to identify tax savings opportunities for Fortune 500 and 1,000 clients. Interns will receive training and development to become the most seasoned state, local, federal, and international tax professionals in the industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional client service to multi-state companies by to identify tax savings opportunities
- Assist multi-state companies with state and local tax controversies, which includes preparing clients for discussions with auditors, representing the client at hearings and at appeal meetings, and preparing protests
- Research and draft technical memoranda regarding state and local tax questions or issues
- Respond to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities
- Review documentation and research issues
- Work with raw data to complete detailed calculations
Education and Experience:
- Working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate or Economics.
- Anticipated graduation date within one year of internship

Data & Content Manager, Sales & Use Tax Compliance
The Manager – Data & Content produces and manages technical content for our indirect tax (sales and use tax) compliance software products. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that tangible business indirect tax is up to date, accurate and implemented correctly within the software.

- Own our indirect tax compliance content area. Responsible various aspects of this product area as it relates to creating and delivering business indirect tax filings.
- Perform research and analysis of business indirect tax code and filing requirements. Maintain jurisdiction contact information.
- Manages changes in factor tables, forms, filing regulations and other aspects of business indirect tax policy.
