As a Patient Care Assistant, you will;
- Provide excellent service to patients as a key member of the clinical care team.

The Case Cart Tech provides patient care support services under the guidance of the Registered Nurse and within their scope of practice. Scripps Medical Center Jefferson is Scripps’ largest North County outpatient health center in the city of Oceanside.
The new 85,915-square-foot, three-story site is designed as a one-stop-shop for patients, with a wide range of outpatient services including primary care, cardiology, neurology, obstetrics/gynecology, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopedics and pediatrics, along with comprehensive imaging, outpatient surgery, urgent care and same-day walk-in care through Scripps HealthExpress.
Join our new surgery center as RN Specialized Services – OR where you will support 4 OR suites and 2 GIs. You will circulate and/or scrub a variety of surgical procedures including general surgery, ortho, GI, GYN, ENT, or Urology. You also will assist with the flow of the daily surgical schedule and be charged with preparing the surgical room according to surgeons’ preferences and surgical procedures.
Additionally, you will collaborate with the surgical team, including pre-op and PACU to ensure the best plan of care for patients. Provide direct patient care to high acuity patients in a complex department within the scope of practice. Engage in complex clinical procedures and may provide clinical assessments to surgical patients in the hospital setting. Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.
