Senior Finance Advisor – DS Power
The role is part of the Downstream Power Finance organization and provides financial leadership across valuation, structuring, tax, treasury, accounting, credit and market risk. The successful candidate will be instrumental in enabling the newly formed Power organization to deliver reliable, lowest cost power, in line with Power strategy including Offshore Wind, Onshore Wind, Solar PV, and BESS. The Senior Finance Advisor reports into the Finance Manager Power Generation and is part of a global pool across the US, NL and UK.

What you’ll be doing
- Lead in ensuring value and risks is made transparent and understood in both decision making and performance management
- Provide Finance expertise to assets within the Power Generation portfolio to deliver the strategy and evolve the business to meet future needs, ensuring top quartile outcomes
- Support broader team to deliver a capital lite business encompassing capital recycling models and project financing (PF) requirements
- Support high grading the portfolio through various commercial activities, ensuring project teams maintain credible and achievable base case assumptions

What we need from you

What we offer
The base salary range for this position is $146,000.00 – $218,000.00 per year. Individual pay will be based on various factors such as relevant work experience, education, certifications, skill level, seniority, and internal equity.

Operations Support Analyst
Responsible for end-to-end tracking, reconciliation, and settlement of crude oil transactions. This role ensures accurate data capture, manages losses, prevents profit leakage, and provides operational and commercial insights across all crude movements. Analysts are expected to own the molecule, understanding the full lifecycle and implications of each transaction.
Accountabilities:
- Record and monitor physical crude movements
- Ensure timely, accurate data entry into systems
- Reconcile and settle internal and external crude transactions
- Interpret operational and commercial impacts of data
- Manage losses and mitigate profit leakage
- Understand, review, and verify contracts, complex pricing, quality banks, and pipeline systems

What you bring

Process Operator
The Process Operator position will be in Port Allen, LA at the Shell Catalyst and Technologies, LP, World Scale Hydro-processing Catalyst production plant. The processing facility consists of a Precipitated Alumina Plant, two catalyst extrusion lines, a catalyst impregnation line and metals solution formulation system.
The Process Operator is responsible for monitoring, controlling, starting and stopping equipment (such as pumps, furnaces, etc.) that pertains to unit operation and taking corrective action when necessary to ensure that all unit conditions and operations are following the Company’s safety, environmental and operating policies and procedures. Typical duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

What’s the role?
The Senior Researcher position in the Polymer Science team is part of the asset organization of Chemicals and Products located at Innovation Center on the Monaca site. The Polymer Science team works jointly with the Technical Service Team, Application Hall operational team, and Analytical lab to support the commercial and manufacturing organization of Shell Polymers Monaca. The Polymer Science team is responsible for the testing of all polyethylene grades produced at Monaca, provides customer support in case of performance issues, supports the introduction of new grade to the grade slate from a product performance perspective, and develops/improves test methods for the various end uses of polyethylene.
The Senior Polymer Researcher will provide technical leadership to the polyethylene business regarding chemistry required for the development of superior quality polyethylene resins in line with the continuously developing new market requirements. This position is key to ensuring that Shell will be able to master and improve polyethylene finished grades for target market outlets like Injection Molding, Blow Molding, Blown Film, and Pipe including use of recycled materials.
What you’ll be doing
- Applying polyethylene polymer synthesis chemistry, additive chemistry, catalyst systems, and their compatibility to produce superior quality resin
- Understanding, using, and generating relevant methods for polymer structure characterization for polymer physical properties characterization such as gel permeation chromatography and other techniques for molecular weight determination, use of Capillary/DMA rheometers for rheology/melt properties, DSC for thermal, Tensile, Flexural and Impact tests for mechanical, as well as other surface, and aging property characterization
- Understanding downstream polyethylene product (LLDPE, HDPE) processing methods (extrusion, injection molding, blow molding, and multiplayer blown film) and resulting impact on final part on the polymer performance
- Helping Shell management understand and assess the polyethylene product grade landscape in different geographies, state-of-the-art technologies, recycling options and product grades, competitor SWOT, and patent literature
- Helping Shell understand the polyethylene product landscape and applications
- Helping Shell to understand and develop its role in keeping abreast of new catalyst commercial offerings to keep its grade offering current to future market condition changes
What we need from you
- Must have legal authorization to work in the US
- Minimum of 10 years relevant R&D, operations, manufacturing, and/or experience in chemicals/petrochemical processes and product application and development
- Advanced degree in Chemistry (PhD), Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering or similar field is required

- Background/experience with setting up Design of Experimental studies in laboratories and/or pilot plants to develop commercially viable grades
