Job Description for Customer Support – Fraud Prevention
We are seeking a diligent and proactive Fraud Prevention Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our platform remains free from fraudulent transactions, Account takeover, and Fake profiling etc. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for our users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigation of accounts & related linked accounts for potential fraudulent traits such as Account takeover, Card testing, Fake profiles, unauthorized credit card usage.
- Regular review of the portal transactions to identify fraudulent transactions.
- Blocking & refunding of fraudulent transactions timely to minimize scope for future chargebacks
- Evaluate escalations received from blocked users and unblock the genuine customers account after verifying the KYC documents
- Analysis of the data from multiple sources to identify discrepancies, spot fraud, and eliminate suspicious activity.
- Review disputes raised by end customers as well as banks and law enforcement agencies pertaining to Unauthorized Charges & Chargeback Claims and take required actions as applicable.
- Review disputes raised by the merchants pertaining to refund, return or tracking infractions and take required actions as applicable.
- Review of queries raised by customers seeking to change/update account information and take action as per policies.
- Review the disputes (refund, return & tracking infractions) raised by the merchants
- Ensure a safe and positive user experience by swiftly addressing the queries.
- Adherence of SLA as per the policies
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in a related field
Experience: Min. 1-3 years of Prior experience as a Fraud Analyst, particularly in an e-commerce company. Familiarity with ticket management systems and tools.
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good analytical skills and the ability to work with data for informed decision-making.
- Good knowledge of MS-Excel and outlook
- Ability to maturely handle fraudulent activities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review of product listing, images videos for identifications of potential intellectual property infringement or violations (trademarks, copyrights patents) as per portal policies.
- Handling of escalations on brand product listings, aiming to reduce legal risks.
- Proactive sanity to be done on the portal to detect infringing, unauthorized, and counterfeit product listings utilizing various keywords for each brand and also referring to SOP.
- Enabling easy search by approving the authentic products with correct tagging of brands and categories.
- Confirming the authorization of the products by matching product, brand name and brand authorization with the authorized approved list.
- Take down the non-compliant products from the portal to ensure a safer shopping environments for users by referring the SOP and procedures set by the portal.
- Monitor and review merchant uploaded content (including images, and videos) for identification of intellectual property violation if any.
- Collaborate with fraud and content moderation team to identify and mitigate fraudulent activities and ensure the platform remains secure for all users.
