We, at Spotify are looking to hire an ‘Editor Music and Culture, Punjabi’ who is dedicated and passionate about Punjabi music, both new as well as catalog music. In this role you will be part of the Music team, and work closely with the ‘Head of Editorial’ of India. You will handle music curation for Punjabi language, and will be responsible for identifying and curating music for all moods, music genres, eras, moments, and multifaceted user interests.

What you will do
- Own the music curation and overall strategy for a language, and establish leadership for Spotify
- Be the language and culture expert, and proactively identify music trends and opportunities for Spotify

- Stay informed on the latest developments in the music industry, including emerging artists, genres and trends

Who you are
- Be deeply knowledgeable about Punjabi music and artists – both new, and catalog music
- You have experience in the music industry, working with a broad range of music content. Experience in programming for music services is preferred
- Good presentation skills, strong data analysis skills, proficient in using data analytical tools to track and analyze music trends, playlist performance and audience engagement
- Having formal training or formal knowledge in music theory will be an advantage.
