Marketing Lead

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning:

– Lead the execution of the overall marketing strategy synergically with business goals and objectives.

– Interface closely with cross functional stakeholders for strategy alignment.

– Collaborate with senior management to define marketing budgets, targets, and key performance

indicators (KPIs).

– Stay updated on the Marketing strategies/ initiatives of Competitors/ relevant industries.

2. Customer engagement

– Monitor, calculate & measure Customer metrics like Conversion rates, Acquisition costs, Lifetime

value, Retention rates, Satisfaction, Market Share, Leads generation etc.

– Keep track & ensure steady flow of Content Pipeline.

– Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing activities with the sales funnel and customer

3. Data Analytics and Reporting:

– Utilize analytics tools to measure the performance/ ROI of marketing campaigns across all

channels.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract drafting and negotiations, as well as experience in advising on legal issues across various business functions. Past experience of handling regulatory matters will be considered a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Drafting and Negotiation:
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts related Wind Industry including Supply, BOP, E&C, Supervision and other contracts relating to SCM, IT, HR etc.
  • Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws and company policies, while effectively protecting the company’s interests.
  • Legal Advisory:
  • Provide legal advice to various departments on a range of issues, including contractual issues, interpretation of laws, risk management etc.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis:

  • Lead the factory’s financial planning and budgeting processes.
  • Analyse and report on the factory’s financial performance, including cost variances, budget control, and profitability analysis.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with corporate/Vertical financial guidelines.

Cost Control & Management:

  • Implement cost-saving initiatives and track factory overheads, labour, materials, and other production-related expenses.
  • Monitor and analyse cost performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain standard costing systems and ensure accurate product costing.

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations, including tax, accounting, and audit requirements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting as per the company’s policies and local regulations.
  • Liaise with external auditors and ensure successful completion of audits.

Inventory & Asset Management:

  • Oversee inventory valuation, ensuring proper controls over physical stock.
  • Conduct regular stock reconciliations and ensure adherence to inventory management procedures.
  • Manage factory fixed assets, including capital expenditure planning and depreciation accounting.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Prepare factory budgets and financial forecasts, coordinating with department heads to gather necessary inputs.

  • Update forecasts based on actual performance and expected future trends.

Internal Controls & Process Improvement:

  • Implement and monitor internal financial controls to prevent errors, fraud, and inefficiencies.
  • Continuously review and improve factory accounting processes, systems, and controls.
  • Lead initiatives to automate financial reporting and streamline accounting processes.

Cash Flow Management:

  • Oversee factory-level cash flow requirement,
  • Coordinate with the central finance team to ensure timely fund transfers, vendor payments.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Manage and mentor the factory finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to ensure the team is well-equipped with the necessary skills.
  • Ensure coordination between the finance team and other departments for seamless financial operations.

Strategic Partnering:

  • Partner with the factory management team to drive business performance and meet strategic objectives.
  • Provide financial insights to support decision-making in production planning, investment, and cost optimization.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: ICWA/MBA in Finance from recognized university.
  • Experience:

Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a manufacturing/industrial setup,

Strong background in cost accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and statutory compliance.

  • Skills:

Proficiency in financial management systems SAP.

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

In-depth understanding of accounting principles and local regulatory requirements.
