What will you do:

Compliance Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive compliance strategies that align with organizational goals and Indian regulations for healthcare, e-commerce, B2B, and private label sectors.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage compliance and data protection risks, implementing effective risk mitigation strategies and controls.
Audit Oversight: Plan and oversee internal and external audits to ensure adherence to regulatory standards, internal policies, and data protection laws. Address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
Policy Development and Implementation: Create, update, and implement compliance policies and procedures, including those related to data protection, privacy, and industry-specific standards.
Regulatory Monitoring: Monitor changes in Indian regulations and data protection laws, such as the GDPR and DPDPA, and adapt compliance strategies and practices accordingly.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Partner with Engineering, HR, Operations, Finance, and IT to integrate compliance and data protection measures into all business processes and projects.
Training and Awareness: Develop and conduct training programs on compliance policies, data protection laws, and regulatory requirements to ensure organizational understanding and adherence.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with senior management, department heads, business partners, vendors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment on compliance and data protection issues.
Vendor and Partner Management: Oversee compliance processes related to vendors, business partners, and suppliers. Ensure their practices meet organizational standards and data protection requirements through regular reviews and audits.
Reporting: Prepare and present detailed compliance and data protection reports to senior management and the board, highlighting key findings, risk areas, and improvement recommendations.
Process Improvement: Continuously assess, enhance, and streamline compliance and data protection processes and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Incident Management: Manage and investigate compliance and data protection incidents or breaches, coordinating with relevant departments to ensure timely resolution and implementation of corrective actions.
Regulatory Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities and industry bodies to stay informed about regulatory developments and facilitate smooth interactions.
Compliance Monitoring Tools: Implement and maintain compliance monitoring tools and technologies to ensure real-time tracking and reporting of compliance activities.

What are we looking for:

10-15 years of professional experience in risk, audit, and compliance.
Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
Bachelor’s degree or a combination of relevant education and experience.
Experience with various industry standards, regulations, and regulatory frameworks.
Professional certification in risk, information security, compliance, or data privacy is preferred.

What will you do:

Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with business goals to protect sensitive data and maintain customer trust.
Oversee regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and threat management initiatives to proactively identify and mitigate security risks.
Ensure robust security measures for applications and data, including secure coding practices, data encryption, data protection and access controls.
Lead the incident response team to swiftly detect, respond to and recover from cyber incidents, minimizing impact and ensuring continuity.
Establish and enforce security policies.
Drive security awareness programs to cultivate a culture of security among employees and stakeholders.
Work closely with IT, legal and business units to align security initiatives with organizational objectives and ensure stakeholder communication.

What are we looking for:

Proven experience in developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies.
Experience in managing and responding to security incidents and breaches.
In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and practices, including network security, application security, data protection, threat management and incident response
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and present security strategies to senior leadership
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH or equivalent are highly desirable.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
