Our FIJI® Water and Wine Supply Chain team is seeking a Corporate Quality Manager who will be responsible for collaborating with our plant, inventory, transportation, production, sales, planning and sourcing teams to investigate quality challenges, provide guidance, and resolution. The team’s mission is to optimize the end-to-end supply chain and maintain a high-quality product through the leadership of various projects and continuous improvement initiatives. The Corporate Quality Manager will be a dedicated contributor for FIJI® Water, Justin Winery and Landmark Winery; and plays a crucial role in safeguarding the quality of our products through testing, evaluation, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

This position will be based out of our LA headquarters on a hybrid basis and will be required on onsite Monday through Wednesday, with the option to work remotely Thursday and Friday. 

Job Description

  • Oversee the internal audit program for the consumer feedback process to ensure that consumer feedback is acknowledged, logged, reviewed, and evaluated properly.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of consumer feedback and make recommendations to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with plant quality personnel to perform root cause investigations, implement corrective action plans, and prevent the reoccurrence of consumer complaints.
  • Provide quality and technical responses for customers and consumers requesting FIJI Water quality information.
  • Provide training on the consumer feedback process, quality management principles, and other quality related topics to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Track, trend, analyze and report KPI findings for market quality and respective cross functional teams.
  • Evaluate the finished product traceability system on a regular basis to ensure a robust process.
  • Owns the corporate quality document control program.  Responsible for ensuring all documents are controlled before going into circulation.
  • Develop and maintain the market quality standard operating procedures as required.
  • Manage and monitor the online quality platforms to ensure compliance with customer expectations.
  • Evaluate the third-party laboratory testing report to ensure global compliance.
  • Track, manage, and respond to customer and regulatory compliance requests.
  • Work closely with the Legal, Regulatory and Corporate Communication teams as required.
  • Collaborate with the Sourcing and New Product Development teams to fulfill packaging regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in food science or other related science degree.
  • 5+ years prior experience in food or beverage industry as part of a Quality Assurance or operation team is preferred.  Experience in CPG/beverage is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of US and international food safety regulations/standards, including HACCP, GMPs, and FSMA preferred.
  • Advanced excel skills required.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with all levels of employees and external partners.
  • Ability to drive and influence positive change in both processes/systems and culture.
  • Strong organizational Skills and attention to detail.
  • Robust and meticulous analytics and strategic thinking capability; keen eye for continuous improvement.

Farming Field Technician I – Pest Scout

Job Description

Overview:
Scouts citrus orchards and nursery for pest problems including but not limited to insects, diseases and weeds. Provides scouting reports.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Walks a min of 5 miles a day scouting citrus orchards for insects, diseases, weeds, and other issues.
  • Scouts citrus nursery for insects, diseases, weeds and other issues
  • Places and picks up insect traps in orchard and/or nursery
  • Collects soil and tissue samples for nutrient analysis.
  • Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned by supervisor
  • Using current technology, completes daily scouting reports on cell phone and/or computer.
  • Must understand and follow supervisor’s directions and meet standards set for each of the jobs that may be assigned
  • Records environmental data from field samples of pest’s population and chemical application to monitor the effectiveness of integrated pest management practices

The electrician conducts, maintains, tests and repairs electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components. Job Description

  • Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment including, but not limited to programmable logic controllers, power supplies, motor starters, frequency drives, sensors and gauges, and test equipment.
  • Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
  • Advises operators and line mechanics of operation procedures and requirements for working safely with electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment and components.

  • Assist with the invoicing and recharging of all profit centers at Suva & Wailekutu Branch
