Territory Sales Representative-Commercial
As a territory sales representative, you’ll be the face of Progressive for independent agencies. In this role, you’ll meet with agents in your assigned territory to influence and advocate for increased utilization of Progressive’s products and services. You’ll tailor your agent meetings to create opportunities to benefit both Progressive and the agency. As an account sales representative, you’ll manage the quality of the book of business and overcome objections to drive profitable growth within your territory. By becoming a trusted partner, you’ll learn the agency’s goals and how our products fit into those goals. You’ll be provided a company vehicle, phone, laptop, and company credit card.
Territory: the state of Pennsylvania
Travel Requirements: Candidates must be able to occasionally travel to and meet with all agencies within this geographic area. Overnight travel will be required within the territory (approximately two times per week). Additional overnights may take place for agent meetings/conferences or team meetings outside of the assigned territory. In addition, overnight travel will be required to attend training in either Ohio or Florida.
Home office location: Must reside in Philadelphia, PA and surrounding communities.
Must-have qualifications
- High School diploma/GED equivalent or higher and a minimum of six years outside business to business sales experience or territory management experience.
- {OR} Bachelor’s degree or higher and a minimum of three years outside business to business sales experience or territory management experience.
- This position requires compliance with Progressive’s driving standards and\or policy.
- This position requires a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
Preferred skills
- Outside business-to-business sales experience with a demonstrated ability to advocate, influence, and advance results and business outcomes
- Ability to manage work and weekly schedule independently and efficiently– prior experience in a field-based role

Compensation
- $88,000-$103,000/year
- Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance

Investments Systems Consultant Senior or Lead
- A minimum of eight years experience in business systems (e.g., systems integration, implementing technology solutions, project management, process design and optimization, testing and troubleshooting systems, training and supporting users, ensuring compliance and security, gathering and documenting requirements).

Medical Coder
- Review health insurance EOB’s (Explanation of Benefits) on excess claims to ensure proper payment
- Ensure AOB (Assignment of Benefits) has been submitted to provider (in states where applicable)
- Providing timely bill processing per state guidelines
- High school diploma/GED equivalent or higher
- Coding certification or six months as a medical coder or equivalent administrative experience
- Strong data entry skills and telephone use

- Complete vehicle inspections, write estimates, determine total loss evaluations, and set clear expectations and timelines
- Negotiate repair process with body shops
- Document information related to the claim and make decisions consistent with claims standards and local laws
- Evaluate and handle claim payments and resolution of claims without payments
- Review and determine validity of any supplement requests
- A minimum of four years of relevant work experience with one year appraisal/estimatics or insurance experience
