Territory Sales Representative-Commercial

As a territory sales representative, you’ll be the face of Progressive for independent agencies. In this role, you’ll meet with agents in your assigned territory to influence and advocate for increased utilization of Progressive’s products and services. You’ll tailor your agent meetings to create opportunities to benefit both Progressive and the agency. As an account sales representative, you’ll manage the quality of the book of business and overcome objections to drive profitable growth within your territory. By becoming a trusted partner, you’ll learn the agency’s goals and how our products fit into those goals. You’ll be provided a company vehicle, phone, laptop, and company credit card.

Territory: the state of Pennsylvania

Travel Requirements: Candidates must be able to occasionally travel to and meet with all agencies within this geographic area. Overnight travel will be required within the territory (approximately two times per week).  Additional overnights may take place for agent meetings/conferences or team meetings outside of the assigned territory. In addition, overnight travel will be required to attend training in either Ohio or Florida.

Home office location: Must reside in Philadelphia, PA and surrounding communities.

Must-have qualifications 

  • High School diploma/GED equivalent or higher and a minimum of six years outside business to business sales experience or territory management experience.
  • {OR} Bachelor’s degree or higher and a minimum of three years outside business to business sales experience or territory management experience.
  • This position requires compliance with Progressive’s driving standards and\or policy.
  • This position requires a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Preferred skills 

  • Outside business-to-business sales experience with a demonstrated ability to advocate, influence, and advance results and business outcomes
  • Ability to manage work and weekly schedule independently and efficiently– prior experience in a field-based role

Investments Systems Consultant Senior or Lead

As an investment systems consultant in our financial reporting organization, you’ll maintain Progressive’s investment accounting and reporting operating systems. In this role, you’ll implement system upgrades and ensure our system-based reporting is compliant with regulatory changes. You’ll work on many process improvement projects to increase efficiencies and minimize manual processing. In addition, you’ll act as a liaison between the Investment Accounting team, system vendors, and IT.
 
This is a remote position.
 
Must-have qualifications 
  • A minimum of eight years experience in business systems (e.g., systems integration, implementing technology solutions, project management, process design and optimization, testing and troubleshooting systems, training and supporting users, ensuring compliance and security, gathering and documenting requirements).

Medical Coder

As a medical coder on our team, you’ll play a vital role ensuring our claims process runs smoothly and efficiently for our customers. Attention to detail is invaluable as you review and enter medical billing information, ensure billing codes correspond with and support medical records, and apply applicable fee schedules and coding rules while making appropriate adjustments. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service and interpersonal skills – which you’ll rely on while assisting medical representatives with coding questions and answering calls from customers, providers, billing offices and attorneys.
This is a hybrid role. You’ll be expected to report to an office about four days per month for important meetings, training, and collaboration and will have the benefit of continued coaching from a supportive team. If you prefer an in-office environment, you’re welcome to work in the office more than four days per month.
You must reside within 50 miles of Progressive’s Plymouth, MI claims office at 46333 Five Mile Rd Plymouth, MI 48170.
Duties & responsibilities
  • Review health insurance EOB’s (Explanation of Benefits) on excess claims to ensure proper payment
  • Ensure AOB (Assignment of Benefits) has been submitted to provider (in states where applicable)
  • Providing timely bill processing per state guidelines
Must-have qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED equivalent or higher
  • Coding certification or six months as a medical coder or equivalent administrative experience
Preferred skills
  • Strong data entry skills and telephone use
  • Thorough knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
  • Knowledge of medical coding rules and local statutes
  • Proficient in the use of the Internet
  • Must successfully obtain and maintain required state licenses

Managing your own inventory while working independently, you’ll work closely with body shops and others to negotiate repair pricing and assess liability. This is a field position with access to a company car and frequent driving within your assigned geographical area. We assess our workload collectively, which means you may cover assignments outside your geographical area. You may also be required to report into an office occasionally.

  • Negotiate repair process with body shops
