Strategy
- Conduct market or competitor research, maintaining a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and trends
- Understand and analyze user needs
- Discover problems/opportunities in product operations and brings up to the notice of leads and assist in prioritising
Design and Execution
- Collaborates with designers, engineers, QA, support and other stakeholders giving a clear understanding of what we are doing and why
- Write clear and detailed product specifications and job stories
- Work with design and engineering teams through feature implementations, tracking timelines and keeping all stakeholders updated on progress
- Define success metrics, and instrument what needs to be tracked. Then measure and analyse product use and adoption, helping identify issues or growth opportunities and iterate

HR Operations and Payroll Specialist
What is the job like ?
- Complete Employee Life Cycle management related HR Ops Support: Onboarding, Confirmation, Exit Management
- Accountable to ensure Employee HR records are accurately created and / or maintained in HR Systems
- Payroll Processing including statutory compliance process.
- Sharing of timely inputs with the vendor on Employee Health Insurance Being responsible for the whole life cycle of the employees and administrative HR processes (maternity leave, absence management, on and offboarding, contractual changes, etc.)
- Support external provider with all data for the payroll calculations, review and release payroll payments
- Ensure legal compliance by managing and implementing applicable human resource state requirements.
- Design and recommend enhancements, improvements, and simplifications of existing HR operations and generate MIS reports.
- Administer and monitor the time-tracking system. Publish monthly attendance report
- Being responsible for contract preparation and all employee documentation according to local legislation (e.g. reference letters, promotion letters, maternity administration, leaves, etc).
- Answer all queries from employees and line managers regarding payroll, compliance and insurance.
- Support with annual processes such as compensation and benefits review
- Assist with internal, external, and statutory audits as needed
- Run ongoing HR reports and organize data to assist business in decision-making
- Prepare reports such as expense analysis and comparison reports; attendance report, benefit utilization, etc
Who should apply for this role ?
- 9+ years of Payroll & HR Operations experience preferably in start-up environment
- Strong understanding of HR practices and employment laws
- Experience in Payroll and Compliance is a must
- Advanced computer skills especially in GoogleSheet/Microsoft Excel
