Senior Sourcer, Tech Recruiting –
About Datadog
Datadog is the essential monitoring and security platform for cloud applications. As we expand our footprint in AI and machine learning, we’re investing deeply in teams building large-scale, production-grade AI systems that power observability, automation, and intelligence across Datadog’s products.
We’re a fast-moving, collaborative community of builders—engineers, researchers, and technical leaders—working to shape the next generation of AI capabilities at Datadog.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Recruiting Sourcer to help grow Datadog’s AI Engineering, AI Research, and Applied Science teams. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in defining how we attract and engage world-class AI talent—from researchers working on LLMs and multimodal systems to engineers building the infrastructure that makes them scalable.
You’ll partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and senior technical leaders to build diverse pipelines, craft compelling outreach strategies, and guide the sourcing process from discovery to engagement. Your work will directly influence how Datadog scales its AI capabilities globally.
What You’ll Do
- Build and execute sourcing strategies to identify and engage top talent across AI research, applied science, large language model (LLM) engineering, and machine learning infrastructure.
- Partner with AI leadership and recruiters to understand role scope, required expertise, and team priorities.
- Conduct market mapping and research to uncover emerging talent, track organizational shifts, and identify new communities of excellence.
- Partner on employer branding initiatives, representing Datadog’s AI teams at events, conferences, and within professional networks.
- Stay informed on the latest trends in AI research, recruiting best practices, and sourcing innovations.
- Use data to measure impact, refine approaches, and continuously improve candidate engagement strategies.
You May Be a Good Fit If You:
- Have 8+ years of sourcing experience, with a focus on highly technical or research-based roles.
- Have a deep understanding of AI and ML talent markets, including experience sourcing for roles in LLMs, applied ML, or AI infrastructure.
- Thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments, and can balance strategic initiatives with day-to-day execution.
- Are curious, creative, and persistent—you see sourcing as research, not just recruiting.
- Possess strong communication skills and the ability to engage senior-level talent with clarity and credibility.
- Are excited to collaborate across functions and geographies to help Datadog shape its global AI hiring strategy.
Manager, Networking
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the global network engineering teams, managing both full-time employees and third-party vendors to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery for Datadog offices worldwide.
- Oversee the design, deployment and scaling of office network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi (Cisco Meraki) and edge networking devices (Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, and others), ensuring these services operate according to Datadog’s defined service level objectives.
- Define and implement standards, policies, and processes for network infrastructure to ensure security, reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate with IT Security, Enterprise Technology, and Workplace teams to align network services with broader IT and business objectives.
- Develop and track operational metrics for service availability, network performance, driving continuous improvement and optimization.
Who You Are:
- An experienced people manager with at least 2+ years of leadership experience managing teams of network engineers.
- Proven expertise in Wi-Fi network engineering, including deep knowledge of Cisco Meraki and edge networking solutions from vendors like Cisco, Palo Alto and Juniper.
- Experience managing large-scale office technology projects in global enterprises with more than 10 offices and 7,000+ employees, ensuring infrastructure keeps pace with rapid company growth.
- Strong vendor management skills, with experience selecting, negotiating, and overseeing third-party providers for network services.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work across IT, Workplace, Security, and executive stakeholders.
- Preferred: A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, along with professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP or equivalent networking certifications.

- New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan (ESPP).
- Continuous professional development, product training and career pathing.
- Intradepartmental mentor and buddy program for in-house networking.
- An inclusive company culture, ability to join our Community Guilds (Datadog employee resource groups).
