About The Role
Are you a TypeScript enthusiast? Is React your jam? If so, you’ll be right at home on the Browser Clients Team. We build and maintain the client-side framework that powers www.twitch.tv. As a Front-end Engineer, you’ll be integral to shipping performant, high quality, and delightful software to Twitch viewers and creators.
This role can sit in Irvine, CA or San Francisco, CA.
You Will:
- Work effectively with the Browser Clients team and feature teams to build high quality Twitch client experiences.
- Build, maintain and improve the platform capabilities, developer workflows, tools, and processes that enable feature teams to ship their changes with confidence and velocity.
- Become an expert in Twitch’s browser-client technology stack and provide guidance to feature teams on implementing their front-end use cases and understanding their performance in production.
- Contribute to architectural, technical design, and process discussions which guide the evolution of Twitch’s browser-based clients.
- Identify and uphold frontend engineering best practices through documentation, static analysis, testing and developer education efforts.
You Have:
- A degree in Computer Science, a related Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years experience working on large scale JavaScript applications

Strategic Partnerships Manager
Reporting to the Senior Partnerships Manager, Japan, you will guide regional content creator development, new creator acquisition, and work on strategic programs tied to content growth. You will be the primary contact for assigned individual creators in Japan, with the aim to bring out their untapped potential by making sure they make full use of the wide set of tools Twitch has to offer. The Twitch Ad Products team’s goal is to help streamers earn money by connecting them with brands they authentically endorse and offering the best ad experiences for their communities. We are looking for a product leader who has experience leading product initiatives from concept to successful launch. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with high levels of customer obsession, strong technical judgment, demonstrated ability to build scalable processes and products, and is an independent operator, experienced working across teams to deliver on behalf of customers.
As a Sr. Product Manager on the Ad Products team, you’ll have an end-to-end ownership of the product(s), design, and technology required to ensure our end customers have a relevant and compliant Twitch advertising experience, reporting to the Director of Ad Products.
