Software Engineer – Payments

As a key member of the engineering team, you will report to Senior Engineering Manager of Payments team and have the opportunity to build and scale solutions that affect millions of users and broadcasters. You will take high ownership of your services – architecting, building and operating them. You will partner with other engineers, product managers, designers and data specialists to deliver solutions.
This position is located in San Francisco, CA.
You Will:
- Work with technical leads and other engineers to design and develop commerce/payments platform and services
- Contribute to customer-focused project deliveries
- Work with other teams to clarify product requirements
- Improve engineering processes
- Participate in design and code reviews
You Have:
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or prior relevant engineering experiences
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, data modeling and schema design
- 1+ years as an software engineer
- Experience creating detailed technical documentation
- Proficient experience level in one or more of the following language: Go, Ruby, Java, C++
- Familiar with AWS ecosystem

Senior Product Manager – Ads
The Twitch Ad Products team’s goal is to help streamers earn money by connecting them with brands they authentically endorse and offering the best ad experiences for their communities. We are looking for a product leader who has experience leading product initiatives from concept to successful launch. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with high levels of customer obsession, strong technical judgment, demonstrated ability to build scalable processes and products, and is an independent operator, experienced working across teams to deliver on behalf of customers.
As a Sr. Product Manager on the Ad Products team, you’ll have an end-to-end ownership of the product(s), design, and technology required to ensure our end customers have a relevant and compliant Twitch advertising experience, reporting to the Director of Ad Products.
You can work from San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; New York, NY with West Coast (PST) hours.
You Will:
- Lead the development and execution of a bold customer-focused product strategy and vision for identity, addressability, and brand suitability; ensuring compliance with privacy and accessibility regulations
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, science, policy, operations, and business stakeholders, to define and execute a product roadmap
- Work back from our customers by learning from their feedback, behavioral measurements, and other data sources to identify pain points and ensure we are building the right features over time.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze metrics to measure the impact of addressable inventory, identify areas for improvement, and drive optimization.
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Collaborate with other teams at Twitch and Amazon to elevate our overall advertising experience.
- Own your launches by partnering with engineering, marketing and other teams to maximize the outcomes of your team’s work.
You Have:
- 5+ years of work experience as a Product Manager
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives

The Strategy & Operations team is responsible for strategic planning, performance tracking, and ad-hoc projects and analyses across our business. The team works across various business units and is core to the decision-making and success of Twitch. As a member of the team, you will develop strategies, recommendations, and insights to influence Twitch’s future.
You have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges. You can dig into details, keep the big picture in mind, work collaboratively in a high performing team, and communicate compelling insights and recommendations. You will report to our Senior Manager of Strategy & Operations, based in our San Francisco, CA office.
You Will:
- Uncover business problems and opportunities, ideate on potential solutions, and structure business cases to evaluate them
- Create strategic recommendations through synthesis of data, internal and external research, analysis, and hypothesis testing
- Manage cross-functional projects and effectively collaborate with teams across all of Twitch’s business units (e.g. go-to-market, product, finance, etc.)
