Strategic Operations Associate, Mobility Operations

Uber is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our US & Canada Mobility Operations team. Strategic Operations Associates are responsible for developing strategies, such as how we balance our marketplace, target and deploy earner promotions, manage local markets, and identify and solve operational weaknesses. They balance improving or innovating new processes with setting and delivering on goals to meet business needs.

What You’ll Do:

  • Strategic Ownership: Help develop, lead, and implement strategy to achieve business priorities
  • Business Influence: Monitor, understand, and interpret key operational and financial metrics to help figure out strategy and action plans. Develop and apply understanding of the levers that move our business
  • Problem Solving: Identify the root cause of risks and opportunities, propose multiple, practical solutions, and weigh tradeoffs to recommend best approach
  • Process Optimization: Implement, optimize, and scale core analyses and processes, regularly reviewing performance
  • Product Improvement: Proactively search for new features or improvements that could improve the experience on and efficiency of our marketplace, measure their impact and collaborate with Product teams to implement launches
  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain productive working relationships with immediate team and cross-functional partners across operations, marketing, customer support, product, policy, and legal to scope, test and implement initiatives

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1+ years of experience in investment banking, consulting, business intelligence, strategy or related experience
  • Excel proficiency (modeling, data visualization)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge in applying SQL, Python, R, Stata or similar statistical languages and tools
  • High-growth operations or startup experience is strongly preferred
  • Phenomenal collaborator, and someone who proactively works across teams, able to influence senior and external stakeholders
  • Storytelling through Data: Transform data analyses into an understandable storyline across tech and non-tech audiences in order to influence business decisions

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$106,000 per year – USD$118,000 per year.

Client Success Specialist

The Client Success Specialist role is a great opportunity to demonstrate your relationship management and sales skills by being the main point of contact for our highest-value restaurant partners.

This role focuses on post-sales of Small-to-Medium Sized Business, upselling marketing products to grow revenue, maintaining operational quality, and maximizing business retention.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage a book of business of UberEats restaurant partners
  • Establish and proactively maintain communication channels with merchant partners via email, phone, and face-to-face meetings
