Supervisory Officer

We’re looking for a supervisory officer to:

• drive initiatives related to sales supervision, compliance and business risk, including implementation and education
• manage review of various supervision processes
• support branches in the Branch Review and Group Internal Audit processes, visiting branches, and working on action plans for those with failed audits
• partner with Compliance, including providing input to policy and supporting communication of policies
• serve as a point of contact for issues that cannot be resolved, and escalate issues as required

Your team

You’ll be working as part of Wealth Management Americas. We help high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals and families meet their financial goals through financial advisors who deliver products and services specifically designed for them. You’ll be a member of the Central Supervision Market Team, reporting directly to the Central Branch Supervision Manager. You will work closely with the Market Supervisory Officer and the Market Head.

Your expertise

• ideally 5 years of experience as a risk/supervisory manager, or other substantive leadership role with a leading financial institution
• series 7, 8 (or 9/10), 66 (or 63/65); insurance and Series 3 a plus
• track record of leadership, mentoring and coaching success
• great communicator (and you know how to handle challenging situations)
• reliable when working independently, with sound judgment for when to escalate issues
• quickly adaptable to changing market situations, technology and business needs

Senior Wealth Strategy Associate

By the end of your training, you will be expected to perform most, if not all of the functions carried out by senior team members. As a partner you will leverage both communication and analytical skills and work closely with teammates and clients to solve problems. Some tasks may include: portfolio construction and rebalancing, trading, investment manager diligence and evaluation, performance reporting and attribution, preparation of presentation material, as well as developing meaningful client relationships. An important component of this role will be partnering with the team’s strategic planning coordinator to assist in managing the business development effort.

Your team

You will join a four-person team that manages assets for ultra-high-net-worth individuals (greater than $10 million). Two principals are part of a select group of experienced professionals that work with a limited clientele; helping craft customized, comprehensive wealth management plans. They act as “Chief Investment Officers” for clients, providing a variety of services including: asset allocation and portfolio strategy, investment advisory services (cash, fixed income and equity management), alternative investments (private equity, private real estate, hedge funds, opportunistic vehicles), access to credit, and wealth advisory services (including trust, estate and philanthropic planning). The business model leverages the financial strength of an integrated global powerhouse with comprehensive wealth management advisory and asset management services delivered in the context of a high-touch, client-focused investment boutique.

Your expertise

• Demonstrated creativity in solving problems as well as excellent analytical and organizational skills, detail orientation, a proficiency in multi-tasking, and a desire to learn about financial markets.
• Must enjoy building long-term relationships, be a self-starter, entrepreneurial, and possess a strong work ethic.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, energetic, enthusiastic, and ability to thrive in a collegial, team environment where professionals work hard but also have fun.
• Three to five years of professional experience preferred.
• Minimum commitment is three years; position provides excellent training in how to operate and manage a growing business along with experience in real world financial applications. Service Associate

We’re looking for a Service Associate to:

• carry out cash management functions, process securities and correspondence, keep records and perform margin activities as a member of the Field Operations team aligned to the Market
• greet and assist clients and visitors to the branch, providing exceptional service
• create strong partnerships, cultivating relationships with assigned financial advisors and coordinating with the operations function
• maintain risk awareness and regulatory knowledge

You’ll be working in person within a WMA branch office on the operational team where we provide advice-based solutions. Your expertise

• bachelor’s or master`s degree or equivalent, focusing on finance
