Our customers range from small and mid-sized companies up to global enterprises.  Our Global Logistics and Distribution business unit provides comprehensive logistics services and warehousing solutions utilizing a global network of distribution centers, innovative technology and supply chain expertise to manage the flow of goods from receiving to storage and order processing to shipment.

Our team manages relationships with Authorized Service Contractors (ASCs) in over 100 countries, helping connect them to our company’s global network, strategy, tools, and goals. We also oversee the monthly ASC settlement process, ensuring accurate compensation for our contractors who support our freight forwarding operations. We focus on strategic business initiatives, including procurement, pricing, marketing, route optimization, and operations excellence to drive profitability and growth.

Responsibilities:

As an intern, you will contribute to high-impact projects that improve efficiency, enhance business strategy, and support global freight operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Process Improvement & Automation – Identify opportunities to streamline our contractor settlement process, reducing manual work and minimizing errors
  • Data Analysis & Governance – Work with business data to assess trends, gather insights, ensure data entry accuracy, flag outliers, and support data quality and data-driven processes
  • Market Insights & Strategy Development – Research industry trends, pricing models, and competitive factors that influence global freight forwarding decisions.
  • Business Strategy & Optimization – Support initiatives focused on pricing strategy, procurement improvements, routing optimization, and cost-reduction efforts to enhance profitability.

Qualifications:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and analytical intern who:

  • Rising college junior or senior, graduate student or recent graduate within the last 24 months pursuing a degree in Engineering, Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, or related field
  • Interested in business strategy, international supply chain, and process improvement.
  • Enjoys working with data and problem-solving to drive efficiency.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Sufficient and effective knowledge and experience in programming and algorithms, especially SQL and/or Python
  • Detail-oriented mindset with an ability to recognize trends and anomalies.
  • Communicates effectively and enjoys collaborating with diverse teams.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively across business units and to different levels of management
  • Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate yourself –Required.

Treasury Compliance Manager | 30E

Job Summary: The Treasury Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing and leading back-office functions that support the Global Treasury cash management and capital markets teams. This role involves the continuous development and implementation of Treasury self-audit controls and compliance work to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage back-office operations supporting Global Treasury capital markets activities.
    • Oversee the processing and settlement of Treasury transactions, including foreign exchange or interest rate derivatives, and debt instruments.
    • Manage the documentation and record-keeping of Treasury transactions and compliance activities.
    • Consolidate hedge notionals and approve notional calculations/amounts.
    • Monitor counterparty exposure and investigate policy exceptions.
    • Conduct market-to-market reviews and manage exchange of collateral with counterparties, as applicable.
  • Manage and perform analysis as needed on Treasury budget, including bank fees
  • Provide support to the retirement oversight committee, as needed. Support could involve tracking of pension-related fees, facilitating meetings with plan trustees, other ad hoc support.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Treasury self-audit controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, including maintaining SOC-1 review policies and adequate complementary user entity controls.
  • Monitor and assess compliance risks related to Treasury operations and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
  • Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure the Treasury function remains compliant.
  • Provide training and guidance to Treasury staff on compliance-related matters.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal departments and external partners.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, compliance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing audit controls and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex compliance issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management and external auditors.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proficiency in financial software and data analysis/reporting tools, including excel.

PT Package Dispatch Supervisor

This position assists the Package Dispatch Supervisor (PDS) with dispatch analysis and daily routine tasks that support the dispatch and preload teams. He/She is responsible for analyzing dispatch plans, identifying areas of opportunity, report publication and service audits.

Responsibilities:

  • Verifies system downloads.
  • Identifies various service failures and exceptions.
  • Prints and distributes multiple daily reports.
  • Makes necessary report updates and communicates changes to PDS.
  • Utilizes mapping tools.
  • Plots previous data and compares actual dispatch to planned dispatch.
  • Maintains a loop analysis to ensure periodic analysis of all loops.
  • Utilizes available reports and systems.
  • Completes monthly dispatch audit.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or International equivalent – Preferred
  • Dispatch Planning System (DPS) and UDC knowledge
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products or equivalent software
  • Customer-focused with strong planning and organization skills
  • Familiar with package flow technologies – Preferred
