This position is full-time. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 2:00pm – 11:00pm EST with a Saturday OR Sunday shift. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 550 Peach Tree NE Atlanta, GA 30308.
We offer 4 weeks of on-the-job training. The hours during training will be 8:00am to 4:00pm EST.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Hospital collecting on patient responsibility for visit in an emergency room or clinic setting.
- Possess and apply thorough knowledge of collections and the ability to apply the knowledge to all aspects of patient account including insurance, billing, and collection processes.
- Identify problem accounts and reviews accounts for discrepancies and potential issues.
- Contact insurance companies to resolve patient responsibility at point of service.
- May make recommendations to Manager on proper course of action to collect on account.
- Sort and file correspondence.

Required Qualifications:

- Ability to travel up to 10% to local healthcare facilities

- Ability to work 02:00PM – 11:00PM EST, with a Saturday or Sunday shift.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ year of hospital/healthcare collections experience

As the Contact Lens Specialist you will be responsible for designing, prescribing, and fitting contact lenses, as well as overseeing the operation and budget management of the Contact Lens Department. This role involves managing all aspects of lens prescribing, fitting, and patient care. Additionally, the Contact Lens Specialist should stay updated on new products and industry trends by attending conferences and keeping up with the latest publications and journals.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Participates and maintains a culture within The Corvallis Clinic consistent with the content outlined in the Service and Behavioral Standards Caregiver document. To this end, employee will be expected to read, have familiarity, and embrace the principles contained within
- Manages daily operations of the Contact Lens Department, which includes scheduling patient appointments, processing contact lens orders, coordinating product deliveries, and maintaining inventory control
- Provides consultations and/or patient assessments for referrals from within and outside The Corvallis Clinic
- Assists patients in contact lens fitting for medical and cosmetic needs; including corneal disorders, Keratoconus, post-surgical corneas and grafts, PMD, trauma, defects, and dystrophies
- Coordinates with EENT Manager on budget management including product pricing, purchasing, billing and credit policies
- Maintains the department area, equipment, and solutions in accordance with OSHA standards, always prioritizing safety and compliance
- Provides services and assistance to all doctors within the Ophthalmology Department as needed
- Oversees various administrative tasks such as appointment booking, chart ordering, issuing recall notices, faxing, and copying
