Job Title: Manager – HR Operations & Systems
Location: Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Integration
    • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of HRIS platforms to streamline HR processes and enhance data accuracy and accessibility.
    • Leverage technology solutions to automate routine tasks and generate insights for informed decision-making.
    • Program manage integration of different systems.
  • HR Metrics and Analytics
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track HR operational effectiveness and measure the impact of HR initiatives on business outcomes.
    • Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous enhancement of HR processes.
    • Familiarity with building effective dashboards on tools such as Power BI.
  • Policy Development and Compliance
    • Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices.
    • Implement measures to maintain a culture of fairness, equity, and inclusivity within the organization.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint). Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
  • Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in HR management roles.
  • Minimum of 3 years of HR Operations experience working with a workforce of 300 or more employees.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing HR processes and systems that drive organizational performance and employee engagement.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations, with a focus on HR operations, compliance, and employee relations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.

Manager – Servicing (Corporate Insurance)

Responsibilities

  • Cater to all servicing and support aspects for Group as well as Corporate Insurance Product

Experience:

  • Years of experience: 5 to 7 years in Servicing

Claims Servicing:

  • Coordinate with TPAs and Insurers for Claims
  • Facilitate claim registration, tracking and closures
  • Interacting with Employees, HRs and Insurers for all servicing requests
  • Handhold customers during the entire claim process to ensure faster closures
  • Identify gaps and streamline the process
  • Cater to Cashless as well as Reimbursement claims
  • Scrutinize claim documents before raising with the TPAs/Insurers
  • Act as a helpdesk for Employees and HRs to resolve queries
  • Procure and analyze Claims MIS, loss ratio and trends.
  • Maintain faster TATs & excellent customer experience for Claim settlements

Endorsement:

  • Responsible for timely addition & deletion of Employees under Insurance cover
  • Ensure all the Employees are duly covered from day 1 of joining
  • Track and reconcile the enrolment process End to End including Health Card creation
  • Develop process for in-house endorsement for Retail insurance (motor & health)

Other Support activities:

  • SPOC for all customer queries on retail as well as group insurance
  • Support calling team by resolving the issues for group as well as retail insurance
  • Tracking and reconciliation of commission

Upstox – QA Manual Engineer – I

Responsibilities

  • Understand product requirements and plan test cases/strategies.
  • Develop and execute manual test cases based on functional requirements and user stories.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Python, leveraging appropriate automation frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews as part of an Agile development team.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases and identify potential defects.
  • Report and track defects using issue tracking tools and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test frameworks to support ongoing testing efforts.
  • Timely delivery of test cases and conducting required tests (regression/sanity) to release builds on time.
  • Responsible for all aspects of quality assurance for a web application.
  • Demonstrated ability to respond positively to changing requirements.
  • Strong communication skills, able to handle challenging situations with diplomacy and grace.
  • Ability to identify problems or inefficiencies in the application and report them to improve user experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in QA testing, with expertise in both manual and automation testing.
  • Strong proficiency in Java or Python programming languages. Experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Pytest, or Robot Framework.
  • Solid understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, HP ALM). Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with web services/API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. ISTQB or similar certification in software testing is a plus.
  • Previous experience in the financial industry or securities brokerage.

Responsibilities :

Monthly GST payments and reconciliations

Quarterly GST returns filling and GST audit

To work on GST automation project

Preparation of GST reconciliation for output tax liability and input tax credit

To handle GST related notices and scrutiny from the department

To work in SAP for monthly book closure activities

To prepare financial statements

To assist in statutory and internal audit

Experience : 2-5 years of work experience in GST and Sound knowledge of SAP
