WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

A Stock Associate/Operator for our Global Flagship on Madison Ave. The Stock Associate/ Operator is responsible for ensuring the proper rotation of goods according to Company requirements and keeping sales in mind. Constantly maintains order in the warehouse and lays out the products according to Stockroom Procedures criteria. Guarantees the safety of products and valuable materials in the store and warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

  • Responsible for daily cycle counts
  • Plans and executes annual inventory
  • Guarantees all stockroom guidelines are followed
  • Complies with Company policy and procedure regarding merchandise and store security in an effort to minimize Loss Prevention risks.
  • Ensures all items are accurately priced and ticketed
  • Liaises with the Store Manager in order to optimize stockroom management.
  • Trains the team on all inventory guidelines and policies
  • Escalates to Manager any discrepancies or issues with stock
  • Maintains a clean and organized stock room TRANSFERS  AND RETURNS
  • Prepares the goods to be sent to clients, other stores or warehouse
  • Assists Store Manager in after sales activities and repairs.
  • Deals with end of season returns and product transfers.
  • Liaises with couriers in order to ensure the delivery of shipments
  • Follow shipping and receiving procedures to ensure all units are processed accurately and in a timely manner

CLIENT SERVICES

  • Ensure the highest level of customer service at all times
  • Support Store Management in the achievement of total store goals and KPIs as determined by the Company. VISUAL
  • Assist in floor directives, merchandising, display maintenance and housekeeping
  • Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise as well as monitoring floor stock
  • Responsible for adhering to company visual standards at all times OPERATIONS
  • Comply with all point of sale policies and procedures
  • In partnership with Store Management, educates the sales team on store sales plan, personal sales goals and store statistics

Client Advisor- ( NEW STORE OPENING)

A Client Advisor for our new Miami Design District store opening later this year.  The Client Advisor will be a key team member in contributing to the store business through achieving sales goals, excellent clienteling and all KPI goals as well as act as an expert in the MRTW category leading monthly focus trainings with the team.  This role offers a base salary plus commission.

 

Client Centric Activities:

  • Clientele and proactive engagement with existing and prospect clients as per plan defined by Store Management
  • Deliver the Valentino Couture Service in an impeccable way in every phase (preparation for sale, welcome, exploring the client, presentation of the product, closing and farewell).
  • Focus on development and retention of existing clients, recruitment of new and potential ones.
  • Engage the client through every selling opportunity – walk in, private appointment, phone consignments.
  • Actively participates to achieve the store’s sales and business KPI’s in partnership and OTO appointment routine.

Merchandise and Visuals:

  • Deal with all sales and after sales activities (boutique returns, end of season, customer returns, repairs, complaints
  • Ensure product maintenance, replenishment on the floor.
  • Know the warehouse stock of all categories to ensure re-stock shelves and maximize sales.
  • Respect administration and operations procedures.
  • Liaise with the In-Store Visual to follow display guidelines; verifies and reports all relevant information to store management.

 

Operations:

  • Knowledge and understanding of company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to use POS system to perform all client transactions.
  • Where an Ops HC is not present takes an active part to the execution of operational tasks (including shipping/receiving)

 

Requirements:

  • Min 2 years of experience in similar role in luxury retail industry

Visual Merchandising Coordinator

Valentino offers a hybrid working schedule with three days in office, and two days remote. This role is a full-time permanent position based in our New York Office.

Overview:

The Visual Merchandising Coordinator is an integral part of Visual Merchandising team. They support the Visual Production Manager and the Regional Visual Managers with back-office activities. They will also support in the field for special events, installations and setup. We are seeking a highly innovative and skilled Visual Merchandiser that can support the creation of high-quality visual windows and indoor displays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the VM Production Manager to manage all processes related to production of windows, pop up and event installations in collaboration with cross functional teams and local vendors.
  • Manage photo library of windows, pop ups and VM installations.
  • Coordinate the visual tools and mannequins stored in the warehouses while keeping an accurate inventory at all times.
  • Support the VM Production Manager to monitor costs for projects and ensure project stays within the proposed budget.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the visual counterparts in HQ.
  • Support events and presentations
  • If needed, travel to visit department store accounts and/or free-standing retail stores to support visual installations. Visits can include full merchandising and display changes.
  • Help Regional Visual Managers with writing up the store visit reports and keep the SharePoint Drive updated for each visit.
  • Coordinate movement of VM tools from store to store, from warehouse to store or from vendors to store.
  • Support with store opening from a merchandising perspective
  • Helping to coordinate the shipping of VM materials from Valentino Warehouse to the Store.

Requirements:

  • Visual Merchandising experience within retail and wholesale a must.
  • Bachelor’s degree in design, Art, Fashion or related discipline preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite is a must
  • Experience in 3D is a plus
  • Keen interest in the current trends of visual merchandising

Store Manager – Belmont Park Village Outlet ( NEW STORE)

A Store Manager  for our New Outlet store opening in Spring 2025. The Store manager is a leader who will thrive in a dynamic environment, embodies strategic foresight, and fosters collaboration. The Store Manager will need to take decisive actions which will play a crucial role in propelling business initiatives forward. They will be responsible in creating and executing business strategies to develop the Boutique as a place for client engagement and connection. As well as an Ambassador of the Maison and embody its values.

 

Network Development and Brand Ambassador:

  • Maintain a strong front-of-house presence, ensuring excellent in-store experience and fostering a «couture service» mindset.
  • Drive the implementation of company strategies by coaching, motivating, and supporting the Boutique team, ensuring strong adoption of and understanding of company strategies.
  • Embody constantly Valentino codes and engage local people with the brand.
  • Attract and recruit new clients from personal network and external partners.
  • Develop clienteling mindset, client’s loyalty, and retention from beginners to VICs.

 

Business and Sales Performance:

  • Constantly monitor the correct rotation of the products and verify that is in line with the store’s sales potential with Merchandising/Buying support.

 

Visual Merchandising:

  • Liaise with and receive information and requirements from HQs Visual Merchandising; verify and report visual criteria effectiveness in terms of sales; report to Visual Merchandising all relevant information.
  • Ensure that VM reflects strategy and verifies guidelines execution in store. Ensure order and cleaning of windows and internal display.

Based Salary Range: $85,000-$100,000 ( based on experience and subject to change)
