What you’ll do

Stocking, backroom, and receiving associates work to ensure customers can find all the items they have on their shopping list. Depending on the shift you work, your job could include moving inventory in the backroom, unloading trucks, or helping customers while stocking shelves. From unloading trucks in the summer to filling ice cream in the freezer, this fast-paced job can be physically demanding.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $26.00.*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Service Shop Repair Technician

Duties and Responsibilities

As a Service Shop Repair Technician, you will perform company guide lined inspections, repairs, and replacements on Walmart equipment, as well as filing warrantable repairs by entering accurate information on the condition, cause, and correction into our maintenance system. Your responsibilities will also include identifying parts needed and best possible solutions for repairs on Walmart equipment, following DOT regulations.

You will make an impact by:

  • Driving cohesion across the team while focusing on the customer.
  • Adapting to changing priorities while staying focused on key objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years’ experience in tractor and trailer inspection and repair OR a technical school degree, or certification in Heavy Duty Truck/Trailer Maintenance.
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license.
  • Brake inspection qualified as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations, Section 396.25.
  • Vehicle Inspection qualified as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations, Section 396.19.

Service Shop Technician III

Duties and Responsibilities

As a Service Shop Technician III, you will be performing preventative maintenance and repairs on Walmart equipment, which includes everything from tractors and trailers to road trucks and shop equipment. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing, maintaining, repairs and replacing major tractor advanced engine components, driveline components, advanced HVAC systems and communication equipment.

You will make an impact by:

  • Performing advanced axle alignments using digital equipment on tractor-trailer tires.
  • Performing electrical/wiring repairs to tractor and trailer light assemblies.
  • Repairing trailers, including lights, landing gear, interior panels, roof repairs, floors doors and threshold plates.
  • Provide preventative maintenance on tractor-trailer brake system components.
  • Performing 8-point inspections on yard and over-the-road tractors.
  • Being a power user with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) software will make you stand out.

Your responsibilities will also include identifying parts needed and best possible solutions for repairs on Walmart equipment, following DOT regulations.

  • Driving cohesion across the team while focusing on the customer.
  • Adapting to changing priorities while staying focused on key objectives.
