DevOps Monitoring Engineer

As a ZPZCX DevOps monitoring engineer at Zoom, you will be responsible for building, deploying and supporting the monitoring infrastructure and tools. These tools + infrastructure help maintain health and desired uptime for critical Zoom products like Zoom Phone, Contact Center and other communication products. What we’re looking for

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of work experience as an monitoring and devOps engineer.
  • Have Proficiency in GIT, Kubernetes and Docker,
  • Have SaaS product Deployment hands on experience using tools like ArgoCD, Jenkins, Helm Charts.
  • Experience administrating open-source (Prometheus, Grafana, etc) and vendor monitoring tools (Pingdom, Pagerduty, etc)
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience of managing Zoom and Microsoft 365 platforms
  • Experience in Linux/Bash, Terraform, Ansible and Python/ Perl
  • Experience with AWS services like CloudWatch, Lambda, S3, EC2, DynamoDB etc.Have knowledge of SQL, MongoDB, Athena, Elastic Search.

Workplace Lead

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee day-to-day operations at our Seattle site, ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently and delivers a high service level.
  • Partner with our FP&A partner and Global Workplace Strategist to understand the growth strategy, with a strong emphasis on space planning in an agile environment.
  • Collaborate with the building landlord, building engineers, partner tenants, and other site-related operations.
  • Assist on new site projects ensuring all workplace standards are being met.
  • Assist with operating budgets, purchase orders, invoicing, accruals and working closely with the accounting team on month/quarter-end closures.
  • Manage internal ticketing systems ensuring SLA’s are being met.
  • Manage the Zoom Snack and Food Program, focusing on the 4 core pillars.
  • Lead our local EH&S Program for emergency response and ergonomics.
  • Partner with the Physical Security team for access systems and CCTV cameras.
  • Partner with global peers and business partners to ensure consistency of brand and culture across all sites.
  • Serve as site liaison for Zoom Business Continuity Plan.
  • Partner closely with onsite executive stakeholders to support various events and requests.
  • Coordinate onsite events as needed ensuring furniture set up/take down, HVAC, extra janitorial and ensuring the office is reset.

Government Industry Marketing Lead

Zoom is looking for a government marketing leader to define and execute the strategic go-to-market direction for Zoom’s government product offerings.  The ideal candidate has a blend of strategic mindset, technology expertise and government industry experience.  You understand the direction of government and can use this insight to shape Zoom’s government vision and future direction.  In this role, you will be part of a talented product and marketing team that is spearheading Zoom’s focus on vertical industry solutions including government.  The ability to work closely with sales, product development and other marketing groups to define comprehensive strategies, create compelling content and position Zoom as the technology partner of choice for government organizations worldwide will be key to this role’s success.

 

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Be Zoom’s government industry subject matter expert helping to build and execute on the cross-functional go-to-market strategy to bring new government products, features and capabilities to market.
  • Introduce new Zoom government products and validate industry-specific use cases that provide value and competitive differentiation for targeted customers and unique personas.
  • Create key positioning and narratives to support government product launches and to drive ongoing government product awareness and adoption.
