Overview:
Cocacola is hiring eligible and interested applicants for the post of Associate Manager – Human Resources & Facilities Management at their Ahmedabad, India location.

Role and Responsibilities:
Payroll:
- Responsible for maintaining attendance, leave and absenteeism record, preparing payroll inputs for plant associates. Preparation and maintaining necessary records as per relevant Acts.
- Working with GFO and external service provider teams to check and ensure that the payroll inputs are accurate and there are no errors in salary processing. Tracking manhour worked, overtime, head count and FTE month on month basis to facilitate correct financial reporting.
Employee Engagement:
- Maintaining deep engagement with employees across all levels to ensure harmonious working environment. Maintaining communication routines and employee engagement calendar and team building initiatives. Implementation of Employee Insight Survey action plan. Dealing with employee grievances.
Recruitment, and onboarding:
- Responsible for assisting HR SBP in recruiting talent as required and then onboarding the talent, provide facilitation performance assessment through probation period till confirmation.
Training & Development:
- The position is responsible for assisting HR SBP in identifying training needs through mapping personal skills vs Job skill requirements, drawing training calendar and implementation by collaborating with department heads. Responsible for planning interventions on maintaining workplace culture, system values, growth behaviors.
Contract Labour Management:
- Managing service providers, contractors in the premises and relevant statutory compliance requirements, executing contractual agreement.
Yearly renewal of Registration Certificate under the Contract Labour Act. Submission of Annual return on or before due date under the Contract Labour Act. - Compliance with wages and salary for contract labors as per the Minimum wages act state wise.
Onboarding contractors, compliance with contractor’s statutory obligation as principle employer, managing day to day governance, access controls of contractors. - Regularly review the status of compliance of contract services to ensure adherence to statutory and legal requirements
Statutory compliance:
- Responsible for assisting HR SBP with statutory compliance labor laws/factories act, Submission of Annual returns under the Contract Labour Act, Maternity Benefit Act, Factories Act, Prevention of Sexual Harassment Act, bonus Act, Employment Exchange ER I, etc.
- Representing the organization while dealing with authorities such as the Labour commissioner office, and Director of Industrial Safety and Health. Tracking updates related to applicable labor laws and employment law compliances. Handling Internal & External HR Audits, and statutory audits.
- Ensure full compliance with all HR-related legal and regulatory guidelines and labor laws pertaining to the plant operations
Always ensure 100% compliance and audit readiness for the plant. Successfully faced internal and external audits on various HR-related compliance matters. - Liaison with government bodies to maintain smooth labor relations and safeguard the needs of the plant to operate in an effective and efficient manner
Community engagement:
- Assist HRSBP in the implementation of community engagement initiatives including community in plant surrounding.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A master’s degree or post-graduation in Labour Relations is essential.
- A master in Social Welfare or a Master of labor-management is preferred
- Relevant experience of 6 to 8 years in an MNC factory set-up is required
- Relevant experience in the Food and Beverages/ FMCG industry will be an advantage
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of the local language (Gujarati) is desirable.
