Your Role

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic buying manager to join our category team. This role is essential in shaping the product assortment and ensuring that we offer a compelling and diverse range of products to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in buying and merchandising, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record in an ecommerce environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Assortment:

● Source and select a wide range of products that align with our category strategy and meet customer demands.

2. Supplier Relationship Management:

Position Overview:

As a key member of the product team, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, execution, and optimization of search and recommendation features to deliver personalized and relevant experiences for our customers. You will be the customer’s voice as we build a best-in-class Search experience for Zepto.

Key Responsibilities:

* Product Roadmap: Develop and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features and improvements based on customer needs, market trends, and business goals.

Content Lead

About the role

The Content Lead will report to the Senior Director of Branding. This is a hands-on role, and will involve a lot of writing, creative thinking, editing, and ideating on strategies to make Zepto a stand-out brand on all our external owned media channels.

The ideal candidate should be adept at Engineering, Product and Design conversations. A good grasp of technology and its moving parts is highly recommended.

What you will do

  • Create and curate content on all our digital platforms, identify brand USP and help improve visibility on owned media channels.
  • Own long-form storytelling around Engineering, Product, Design (EPD) and business stories around operational efficiency, supply chain and others that make Zepto a pioneering brand.
  • Control quality of copy and tonality to create a niche brand perception around Zepto’s differentiation in the Quick Commerce space.
  • Elevate the quality of content, ideate, strategise and conceptualize campaigns to improve Zepto’s brand
  • Chart out an editorial strategy to ensure consistent and compelling storytelling
  • Manage stakeholders from different internal teams – EPD, Business — write stories on multiple products and innovation, showcase work internal teams are doing to improve branding.
  • Measure and analyse what’s working and what isn’t, with regard to the brand’s content marketing efforts.
  • Support all communication efforts from the senior leadership team.

What you will need

  • Should have at least 6+ years experience writing compelling, creative content – samples of past long-form work is mandatory.
  • An eye for snackable content that grabs attention – past writing on social media helps.
  • A solid understanding of Engineering, Product, Design and business storytelling is mandatory.
  • The ability to use data and research to shape a narrative – samples of past work helps.
  • A strong social media profile and knowledge of tools that help accelerate reach and engagement in social media – please add references of this.
  • Industry knowledge – we’re in the Quick Commerce space and knowledge + passion on key industry trends, understanding competition and areas for growth are big bonus points.
  • Tech-savvy – new tools to manage teams, structure work and eke out quality content using tech. (GPT-3? Maybe 😝)
