Hardware Analytics Engineer Intern

Hardware Analytics Engineer Intern Responsibilities
  • Interface with internal hardware and software engineers and operations teams to understand system architectures and failure modes
  • Proactively create experiments and data visualizations to detect and diagnose hardware health issues, focusing on systemic solutions
  • Develop data pipelines and discover insights to answer relationship between hardware and data center parameters to server failures
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and root cause of system failures and isolate the components /failure scenarios while working with stakeholders internally and externally
  • Share insights with stakeholders and software teams to develop architectures to handle server failures based on hardware health data
Minimum Qualifications
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
  • Analytical experience using statistics or machine learning, in academia or industry
  • Data processing and visualization experience (SQL, Python, or R)
  • Programming experience (Python or C++)
  • Strong communication skills for working with and learning from hardware and software engineers and operations teams
  • Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Master’s or PhD degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field

Marketing Science Partner, Specialty

This position will work with internal and external stakeholders to advise clients and the industry on measurement strategy and work with them on an ongoing basis to adopt better measurement as a way to improve business performance. To accomplish this, the person in this role will drive industry adoption of Facebook preferred measurement methods and products and design and execute empirical research for individual clients and at the industry-level. Driving good measurement with clients will require designing tests and doing research to help clients understand and improve the effectiveness of their advertising across digital platforms and across media. Facebook is seeking exceptional candidates to join this new team: we’re looking for people with strong analytical and critical thinking skills as well as familiarity with large data sets and data tools.   • Manage complex and technical driven clients in Retail and eCommerce vertical.
  • Engage with clients and both Meta and client’s product and data science partners to measure true business value by building and operationalizing measurement strategies that highlights how the client can improve business outcomes by employing highly customized measurement techniques.
  • Drive client, vertical, and industry adoption of preferred measurement methodologies, products, and approaches.

Construction Manager

Meta is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our Data Center Engineering & Construction Team. Our data centers are the foundation upon which our rapidly scaling infrastructure efficiently operates and upon which our innovative services are delivered. Building and operating data centers the “right” way is synonymous with ensuring high uptime, capacity availability and capital conservation. The data center engineering team thinks from chip to chiller (or electrical substation), determining configurations and ensuring maximum efficiency of our compute infrastructure.
Construction Manager Responsibilities
  • Manage the construction, commissioning, and turnover of a Data Center within a campus program
  • Manage the budget associated with the project
  • Manage the cost change process and negotiate best pricing
  • Manage the schedule and associated risks to ensure reliable and predictable turnover dates
  • Manage warranty and tenant improvement work in the live environment when/as necessary
  • Communicate upward regarding the status and risks of the project
  • Negotiate vendor and contractor contracts and purchase orders as needed
  • Mitigate risk for the project through pre-planning, innovative planning, and partnership
  • Develop cost savings solutions and identify project savings/underruns early
  • Partner with the General Contractor and other Vendors to build a culture of collaboration
