Job description

Flex Financial contributes to making health care better by providing financing options for our customers, so they can more readily acquire Stryker products.  Our key focus is to meet our customers financial and medical equipment needs and to have fun in the process.

 

This role will also be responsible for auditing and booking agreements that will be billed and collected on by Bank of the West once they have commenced. This includes reviewing of financing documents, pricing, and general data that rolls into the booking files. Troubleshooting will be done as needed when questions arise during the audit process.

 

Role Qualifications

  • Must be able to analyze and resolve non-routine accounting issues using independent judgment

OnSite Specialist – Buffalo, NY

Job description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provides clinical surgical support by managing all relevant equipment.
  • ​Anticipates related device needs of the O.R. staff and surgeon during surgical procedures.
  • Is responsible for trouble-shooting and maintaining Stryker equipment and or other related devices.
  • Works with surgeons, O.R. personnel, central processing, biomedical and all other related personnel.
  • Maintains knowledge base of equipment and disposable products through Stryker education training programs.
  • Provide physicians and OR personnel with information on new and current products.
  • Accurately records and reports all surgical procedure information.
  • Adheres to all Stryker and medical facility policies, standards and procedures.
  • Must be able to analyze and resolve both routine and non-routine product issues expediently using independent judgment.
  • The ability to provide on-call services, as required, by the medical facility.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent certifications required, Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
  • Operating Room experience and demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, surgical procedures and techniques highly preferred.
  • Experience and demonstrated success working on a team highly preferred.
  • Ability to exert up to 50lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 20lbs of force to constantly move objects.
  • Ability to remain standing and/or walking for an extended period of time.

What you will do

As a Service Associate, your primary responsibility will be collecting single use devices at hospitals within your designated territory. You will also get to engage with hospital staff to provide optimal customer service on training and education around the proper use of Stryker Sustainability Solution’s bins and what devices can be collected. Partnering with the sales representatives in your assigned territory, you will manage inventory, help with the education cadence, and supply of materials for your hospitals.

 

What you need

Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds on a daily basis.

• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license and appropriate insurance to travel by car as required.

• Highschool degree or GED.

• Use of your personal vehicle (drive 80-100 miles/day depending on territory).

Financial Analyst – Remote

Flex Financial contributes to making health care better by providing financing options for our customers, so they can more readily acquire Stryker products. The individual selected for this role will be expected to reconcile, monitor, and clear open balances related to financed transactions through Stryker’s leasing arm, Flex Financial.

 

As Flex continues to grow, this role would partner with Internal Audit and Compliance to develop and maintain internal audits around Flex transactions. This would require interpreting reports and records for customers, sales force, and divisional contracts.

 

This role would be an active participate in Flex’s month end process. This will be including but not limited to providing records of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions as necessary.

 

The following responsibilities will also be a part of this role:

 

  • Reviewing, reconciling, and proposing recommendations to their manager and the Flex Financial Controller of next steps regarding unpaid or overpaid lease payments on terminated contracts
  • Identifying contracts that need final action for termination, and ensuring corresponding journal entries are completed within the general ledger as part of this process
  • Researching variances within large sets of data related to general ledger reconciliations
  • Performing and submitting monthly account reconciliations
  • Submitting various journal entries related to the Flex Financial process
  • Providing high level of service to both internal and external customers
  • Continuously seeks opportunities to improve existing processes
  • Providing recommendations to leadership on key business decisions with thoughtful analysis on how financials will be impacted
