Account Manager

What’s the role?

Our account managers serve as the go-to contact for our customers, embodying our purpose to make construction better by being their partner for productivity, safety, and sustainability. You will manage your own portfolio of customer accounts and be given ownership to build a work schedule that best suits you and your customers. You’ll make sales by maintaining customer relationships, demonstrating our latest tools on the spot, and providing high level customer consultation.

What does the role involve?

 

  • Building relationships – you’ll meet with customers at a moment’s notice or be actively present to capture the perfect business opportunity. You understand to create value in account(s) through long-term, profitable relationships
  • Time and Territory Management (TTM) – creating a daily schedule (including presence on jobsites and client offices) to optimize client potential and sales productivity by zone territory
  • Be a Hilti Champion – you’ll carry the technical knowledge to present high level customer consultations in your defined territory and represent the Hilti brand in the marketplace
  • Tracking your progress – you’ll utilize Salesforce to record all the interactions you had to make a sale as reporting is a key part of this role

What do we offer?

Our account managers earn between $54,000 – $75,000 + $13,000-$19,000 in bonus per year, if all sales goals are met. The account manager role offers an uncapped bonus potential. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training. The disclosed range estimate is for this particular job posting. What you need is:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • At least three years of outside sales experience – preferably in an environment with set targets
  • Hands-on attitude – you’ll be demonstrating our tools to our customers, using platforms such as Salesforce to keep track of everything, and collaborate with a variety of departments
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license – we’ll provide you with a company car, be sure you’re ready to drive
  • Excellent time and territory management skills
  • Must be able to walk on construction projects, climb scaffolding, and lift as much as 65 pounds at any given time
  • Work a flexible and varied schedule

Engineering Content Manager

What’s the role?

The Engineering Content Manager leads the implementation of integrated, multi-channel, results-driven marketing efforts within North America and Latin America (the W1 and W2 regions). Responsible for reaching the target customers to drive the specification to sale conversion of anchors within a given industry segment utilizing Hilti marketing processes and market reach resources. Position combines technical and marketing knowledge and competences in order to fulfill the company’s sales objectives and goals.

What does the role involve?

 

  • Analysis and investigations of complex technical anchor related topics (technical data and design) with the intent to provide project teams and management with the necessary data, insight, and context for decision making (considerations included product, design, software, and regulations assessments).
  • Design, develop, and carry out technical marketing initiatives and campaigns that support the Global Business Unit (BU) Anchor strategy and stated objectives, within the W1 and W2 regions.
  • In collaboration with the local Technical Marketing and Engineering teams, establish and develop technical marketing objectives and goals for assigned industry segment to improve specification strength and specification coverage.
  • Responsible for coaching and directing local Technical Marketing and Engineering teams in developing, coordinating, and implementing market, technical sales, brand, and market reach strategies for the segment.
  • Analyze and interpret marketing trends concerning technical anchor products or services.
  • Prepare and present analytical reports.
  • Organize and conduct research activities.
  • Prepare presentations for both internal and external customers.
  • Evaluate the specifier’s needs and expectations and match product, service, and software solutions to create differentiation.
  • Partner with Product Management and Engineering through the new product/ software development (TTM) and product care global process.
  • Partner with global counterparts to align on common roadmap and to prepare deliverables.
  • Responsible for the selection, organization, and participation in key associations, boards, and trade shows related to the given segment including steering mechanisms to evaluate ROI for participation.
  • Build and strengthen a trade community via newsletters, webinars, and trainings.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across channels.

The Purchase to Pay Accountant ensures that Hilti’s liabilities are properly computed and payments are properly prepared, recorded, and disbursed for all HNA entities through the effective management and development of the Accounts Payable Department. This position also takes the lead in Accounts Payable related projects and ensures compliance 1099 processing and reporting to IRS.
