WHY BOX NEEDS YOU 

As an Outbound Business Representative, you’ll be responsible for reaching out to potential customers and nurturing relationships with both new clients and our existing customer base. You will collaborate closely with our Mid-Market, Enterprise Account Executive Team, and Marketing Teams to generate qualified sales leads, schedule meetings, and create new business opportunities. We are looking for individuals who are motivated by sales targets and can take initiative in their work. WHAT YOU’LL DO 

  • Generate sales-ready meetings and opportunities for Mid-Market or Enterprise Account Executives using Box’s qualification criteria
  • Initiate exploratory conversations with key decision-makers at targeted accounts
  • Create strategic target account lists within a defined territory based on research
  • Connect with potential clients through initial outreach via phone and email, actively seeking to understand their requirements
  • Utilize Salesforce according to Box’s standards for lead management metrics tracking
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams at Box

 

WHO YOU ARE 

  • 6 months+ of experience in Sales or Business Development
  • A team-centric mindset – demonstrated ability working well in a collaborative environment
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong relationship-building abilities

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience addressing customer needs and solving complex challenges
  • Proven ability to achieve goals and objectives in a dynamic work environment

Small Medium Business Account Executive (New York, NY)

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

  • Manage the entire sales cycle, which includes prospecting, conducting discovery calls and demos, negotiating deals, and closing new & existing business across all industries in the Small Medium Business segment (1-500 employees).
  • Thoroughly research your customers and prospects to gain insight into their specific business challenges, and demonstrate how Box can add value
  • Drive the sales process by influencing key stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Develop a comprehensive territory plan that covers all aspects of your target market.
  • Schedule visits to meet customers face-to-face within your assigned territory.

WHO YOU ARE 

  • 2+ years of experience in a sales role, with a proven track record of success
  • At least 1 year of prior closing experience
  • Prior success in technology sales is preferred
  • Openness to learning about Box’s product, new technologies, the industry, and our customers’ businesses
  • Clear examples of successfully closing deals using an established sales process
  • Able to consistently identify opportunities for growth in new territories using a proven method
  • Previous experience in building relationships and selling to executives at all levels

Mid-Market Account Executive, State and Local Government

As a Public Sector Mid-Market Account Executive, you will be responsible for seeking out new customers and communicating how Box can help meet their content management and collaboration needs. You will have experience prospecting, running discovery calls/demos, negotiating, and a track record of closing new business. You should also understand use cases and how to sell across multiple departments and industries.   • Source and close net new logos within a given territory, in the State and Local Government Mid-Market segment
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive territory plan
  • Research and understand your customers and prospects to gain insight into their business challenges and Box value proposition

  • Collaborate with internal partners to move deals forward and ensure customer success
  • Territory visits to meet customers face to face

 

WHO YOU ARE 

  • 4+ years sales experience with a track record of success
  • Previous experience selling into the State and Local Government segment
  • Demonstrated capacity to adapt to new technologies and products
  • Have clear examples of closing deals using a proven sales process
  • Effectively uses a repeatable method for uncovering greenfield opportunities and building out a new territory
  • Previous experience building relationships and selling to C level executives
  • Prior success in technology sales

Large Enterprise Account Executive, State and Local Government

We need strong sellers to help new customers realize their digital transformation goals while evolving how our current customer base leverages Box.  By joining the State and Local Government Sales team you will have an opportunity to work alongside our most senior sales leaders and our largest customer base.

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

  • Source and close net new logos within a given territory in the Local Government segment
  • Research and understand your customers and prospects to gain insight into their business challenges and Box value proposition
  • Influence and drive the sales process while managing through multi-layer stakeholders in organizations
  • Exercise judgment in selecting methodologies, techniques and evaluation criteria throughout the sales process
  • Collaborate with internal partners to move deals forward and ensure customer success
  • Up to 50% travel in assigned territory

WHO YOU ARE 

  • 7+ years of work experience in Sales with a track record of success
  • Prior experience selling into Los Angeles County
  • Proven ability to learn new technology and products
  • Have clear examples of closing complex deals and your sales process
  • Effectively uses a repeatable method for uncovering greenfield opportunities and building out a new territory
  • Previous experience building relationships and selling to C level executives
  • Prior success in ECM, Cloud, or SaaS sales
