Senior Manager – D2C

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for scaling D2C brand’s portfolio on the platform with interventions and liaising with various internal &  external stakeholders
  • Partner with demand, store-front & category teams to ensure the deliverables are met for D2C brands.
  • Manage team of account managers, executives and data analysts to achieve AOP
  • Program Management encompasses – GMV growth, TOI & Target Negotiation, Strategic Account Services, Marketing as a Service, Brand Full Stack Services
  • Business Development: Speaking to brands and onboard them on the D2C – Rising Star Program.
  • Enhancing the D2C program structure to create differential experience for the brands from the current set of MP brands
  • Monitor & Manage Key Business Metrics: Customer acquisition/ retention, Conversion, Segment/ Booking Volumes, Net Revenue, Revenue per Segment, Marketing/ Discounts per Segment and EBIT
  • Inputs to Supplier Relationships: Provide critical inputs to the Supplier Relations team for their ongoing discussions with various airlines
  • Product: Monitor global trends in consumer behavior and use a deep understanding of consumer needs
  • Cross-Functional Ownership: Role entails close working with various internal teams across Product, Technology, Fulfillment, Customer Support, Corporate Strategy and Marketing etc. The role will be to manage relationships and take accountability of the end to end delivery of tasks to lead to traffic growth, conversion and additional revenue for each category.
  • Pricing and Promotions: Ideate sales promotions with marketing teams, manage website pricing through bench-marking
  • Reporting: Performance reporting to internal and external stakeholders

 

Desired Candidate

  • Prior P&L / Category Management / Corporate Development/ Corporate Strategy/ Product Management experience preferable
  • Approximately 5-7 years’ experience
  • Excellent understanding of market and consumer trends
  • Highly analytical. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Self-starter with excellent communication, leadership, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with different functional teams and levels to lead the achievement of the objective
  • Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles with outstanding execution and problem-solving skills

Associate Director – Assortment Lead Hyperlocal

Myntra’s Category Speed business team aims to unlock incremental growth on the back of a reliable Sub-Same Day (SSD) & Same Day (SD) delivery service coupled with a choicest branded selection thereby offering a unique and differentiated merchandise for its fashion forward customers. Along with the speed of delivery, which is table stakes for quick commerce business, availability of the right selection will play a major role in its success. The Category speed business team will have its stakeholders in category, central planning, business finance, business analytics and supply chain and will primarily be responsible for rapid growth of this model.

Supply Lead – Assortment Design- Category Speed Business (M5)

  • Assortment Design: The incumbent will be responsible for shaping selection design for SD/SSD business across all core and emerging categories to drive business growth, keeping in mind brand /article/style representationdepth of selectionsell throughs & conversions.

Business Design: Liaise with category and business finance to define and achieve the right business mix conducive for SSD & SD service Business growth: Ensure that Same Day and Sub Same Day business sees new highs every passing day through relentless focus on both NCs and repeats, selection availability, high sell throughs, faster recall, and robust customer experience; prepare a playbook for success in other cities 

  • Influence & cross functional communication: Influence stakeholders to drive quick actions across different teams to keep the growth engine running

Qualifications & Experience

4-7 years of experience with Fashion Background.
Familiarity with category management for lingerie category.
Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement.
Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships.
Comfortable with figures and in collecting, analysing and interpreting data.

Associate – Category Management

Role: Work closely with Category Manager to drive the business in the relevant category with focus on
growth and increasing the market share. Manage relationships with brand partners & establish Myntra
as the preferred destination for customers as well as brand partners.
Responsibilities:
● Intake / OTB management – Monitor inventory situation & plan inwards based on the DOH plan &
plan timely RTVs
● Selection – making season level buy plans / assortment plans, based on past performance & growth
/ revenue targets to ensure that the category is well represented
● Review style level performance based on metrics such as ROS, Sell thru, RPI, RGM
● Category visibility planning & interventions – planning banners for respective brands and raising
banner requests on time
● Identify gaps in product offerings & subsequently introduce / onboard new brands / categories
● Managing pricing (SOR / OR) – follow up with brands on securing timely discounts and updating the
same, control pricing internally as per planned GM / RGM. Working closely on OR discounting based
on profitability requirements
● Be an effective bridge between brands & internal teams for all communications
● Operational excellence: Should have prior experience or enough knowledge & confidence to
manage merchandising operations, inbound planning, cataloguing & discount monitoring
Qualifications & Experience
● Graduate from NIFT or other reputed institution
● 3-4 Years of relevant experience in Apparel buying / planning / merchandising
● Understanding of planning & Inventory management (Understanding of E-comm will help)
● Willingness to learn, innovate, take initiatives
● Strong MS Excel skills & understanding of data analytics
● Customer centric, creative & analytical problem-solving mindset
● Ability to work as part of a team & collaborate with others
● Should be good at multitasking & time management
● Good interpersonal & negotiation skills
