Roles And Responsibilities

Understand the Business Need

  • Engage with business stakeholders periodically to identify a food menu-based solution (Category Growth, New City Launch, New Brand Launch, Acquisition, Customer Engagement, etc.).

Customized Market Research

  • Conduct customized market research to serve the business need using platform data, competition data, blogs, articles, listicles, Google Trends, social media, etc.

Competition Benchmarking

  • Conduct competition benchmarking once the required information on the ‘food menu’ is identified through research and collate the required specifics (such as regional flavors, ingredients, food quality, presentation, etc.).

R&D Support for Menu Creation & Food Trial

  • Align the suggested menu and its specifics to the R&D Team for culinary development by ensuring that the brand guiding principles are adhered to.

Collaboration with R&D Team

  • Work with the R&D Team on the various versions of the ‘menu’ prepared by them by giving them inputs/feedback based on market research insights for improvisations (if any).

Tasting Sessions Coordination

  • Bring together in-house teams (Menu Excellence, Brand Chefs, and potential customers) for tasting the food and sharing their comments.

Stakeholder Management

  • Record the ‘trial feedback’ and circulate the same with relevant stakeholders (Menu Excellence, Culinary Brand Chefs, and R&D team) and facilitate the final decision of inclusion of the menu.

Dish Bank Maintenance

  • Ensure dish bank is updated with the latest inclusion for future launches.

Menu Launch Preparation

  • Get the ‘menu dish’ launch ready by doing photo shoots, naming, descriptions, and making pricing suggestions to the business teams and anchor the catalogue placement (through the business team or by self).

Performance Tracking

  • Track the performance of the dishes launched and communicate the same to R&D and Culinary for any improvements.

About the role: 

The operations team at Swiggy is responsible for delivering great customer experience through best-in-class delivery times and maximum serviceability. While we make our efforts in achieving these objectives, we also already have India’s largest delivery fleet and we are heavily focused on ensuring a great DE experience. We hope to make Swiggy the platform of choice for anyone in the country looking for a delivery job.

Primary roles:

1) Daily data management and monitoring of reports published

2) Follow up and coordinating with city teams for different AI deployments eg) rains 

3) Program management of team level projects with city AM-OMs for expecution

4) Analysis of data and raw metrics for projects picked up by CT Team

5) D-1 RCA of the cities assigned and ensure course corrections are deployed in coordination with city teams

6) Setting up new reports and sheets that is required to be published , building dashboards

2) SQL & Snowflakes knowledge for building queries

Job Description:

  • Sign Contracts with restaurants along and handling the inquiries from existing and new client
  • Gather sales leads from the market and approach restaurants actively, from no star to 5 stars and get them on board with Swiggy as a partner
  • Maintaining a strong relationship with restaurant owners and advising them on issues related to the market and offering solutions on the same
  • Manage the sales administration function, operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible, and advising senior management on maximizing business relationships and creating an environment where customer service can flourish
  • Responsible for managing the sales individually, developing a business plan covering sales, revenue, agreed targets, and promoting the organizations presence and expense controls, meeting agreed targets, and promoting the organizations presence
