Who We’re Looking For

Toyota Financial Services (TFS) Technology team is looking for a highly motivated, dynamic and experienced person to fill a role as a Technology Policy & Planning Lead supporting the Toyota Financial Savings Bank (TFSB).

This role will play a critical part in developing, implementing, and overseeing technology strategies and policies that align with the TFSB goals and regulatory requirements. Toyota’s General Maintenance Department in Huntsville, Alabama is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Skilled Maintenance Technician. The primary responsibility of this role is preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment in accordance with standards.

What you’ll be doing

Skilled Operation Support Maintenance and Facilities Technicians support the production, quality, cost and safety goals of the manufacturing operation and plant facilities.  All skilled personnel are responsible for preventive maintenance, process and equipment improvements and effective troubleshooting. These responsibilities include:

  •  Assemble, design and test hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment or systems. (Involving circuits, relay logic, wiring, motors, servo drives, etc.).

Toyota’s Emerging Energy Solutions Department is looking highly motivated R&D product development engineer to lead the development of all-new EV and Home Energy ecosystem products, turning new business strategies into reality, while supporting Toyota’s electrification and carbon reduction efforts. to work on vehicle and home-connected electrical systems.

The primary responsibility of this role is to develop system control and evaluation of various vehicle/home-connected electrical systems like stationary battery systems, V2X (V2H, V2L, V2G, V1G), Charging products. In addition, this position will coach other less experienced engineers.

Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, Engineer in this role develops new products for connected electrified vehicle systems and new energy solutions. This will ultimately support Toyota’s goals to expand electrified powertrains, further reduce total carbon footprint and achieve Toyota’s 2050 Environmental Challenges.

What you’ll be doing

  • Research current existing systems in the market, understanding North American (NA) trends.

Sr. Analyst, Dealer Lending

Primary Job Accountabilities

Dealer Lending Credit Transactions Management

  • Manage negotiations, compile documentation and analyze all new credit requests, renewals, and modifications in a timely manner ensuring package completeness.
  • Review credit requests, analyze detailed financial and non-financial information, and prepare a comprehensive credit package for presentation to the appropriate credit authority for decision.
  • Demonstrate ability to clearly and concisely present the request and risks associated with each credit package, including recommendations on the amount, credit structure and any conditions for approval.
  • Build a strong working relationship with the Sales Team, Lead Agents, Legal as well as Borrowers.
  • Build well-structured commercial loans, including cash flow analysis, industry standard financial ratios/covenants, and establishing loan collateralization.
  • Review financial information in conjunction with policies and procedures to identify key credit risks and deviations from operational standards in order to make suggestions to mitigate credit and operational risk.
  • Monitor and track existing transactions to ascertain renewals are handled appropriately and avoiding reaching its maturity date.
  • Anticipate dealer group deterioration by timely and effectively reviewing updated financial information.
  • Monitor and document risk grade changes.  Recommends upgrades/downgrades with the appropriate rationale.
  • Present dealer’s recommended structure proposal to the corresponding forum (i.e. ERMC).

Portfolio Monitoring

  • Monitor existing portfolio performance, such as: audit results, updated financial statements, special unforeseen events, etc.
  • Anticipate risks before they arise by submitting periodical reports to Management.
  • Drive presentation of Key Performance Indicators (“KPIs”) to the ERMC, at least quarterly.
  • Assess overdrafts documenting reasoning behind the overline while establishing clear timeframe to cover.

Policies and Procedures Maintenance

  • Review policies on an annual basis to ascertain compliance with TFSC (“Toyota Financial Services Corporation”), AOR, TCPR and TMCC (“Toyota Motor Credit Corporation”).
  • Update procedure manual as required or when process changed.
  • If required, perform testing and documentation of controls.

Portfolio Management & Risk Operations

  • Manage and coordinate review of the documentation, closing, and funding process for all assigned accounts to ensure a smooth process with a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Must have the ability to review and analyze appraisals, ALTA Surveys, environmental assessments, title documentation, and other relevant agreements to effectively document each transaction to minimize the risk of loss for TFS.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of management and ability to build and maintain good working relationships with both internal and external customers and support departments.
  • Ability to evaluate covenant compliance and borrowing base certificates to validate accuracy of information.
  • Manage and coordinate all insurance requirements between TMCC and borrower.
  • Support to reach satisfactory audit ratings.
  • Manage and respond audit requirements in conjunction with the legal and compliance unit.
  • Review and challenge findings to accurately respond or accept the observations.
  • Establish action plans, if needed.
  • Follow up action plans to ascertain compliance.
