Deputy General Manager- It Sap

Purpose of the Job

Implementation, configuring, Upgrading, and updating SAP functional modules and add-ons. Maintaining the SAP Performance and security. Managing the third-party application and integrations.

Details of the Job

  • Actively participate in roll-out and implementation of new business applications and functionality.
  • Perform installation upgrades, migration, system refreshes, system copy and provide ongoing maintenance on various SAP and native applications systems.
  • Installation, setup, and configuration of Solution Manager, Managed Systems Setup, Technical and Business Process Monitoring, Maintenance Planner, EWA Reports
  • DBMS performance and fine-tuning, updating system parameters based on SAP best practices and recommendations

Industrial Relations:

To build and maintain high level of Trust with Unions and ensure cordial harmonious industrial relations at the factory level. Drive monthly Union & Management meetings to promote business understanding and take the Union into confidence in driving business priorities.

Contract Labours Management

Ensure periodic review and verification of records of Contractors for compliance. Ensure fulfillment of statutory obligations by contractors e.g. PF, Bonus, ESI, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, Welfare facilities, timely return to Govt. authorities etc. Regular dialogue with Contractors for listening and sorting out their problems, if any, and streamlining the system. To review and monitor contract labour management system.

Manpower Planning & Employee Engagement

To plan the manpower requirement at all levels categories of the workforce basis the standard manning norms and ensure availability of required no. of manpower at all times to meet the factory operations requirement. To work out a yearly Employee Engagement plan linked to Factory Business Plan with the alignment of all stakeholders and execute the same effectively.

Legal & Statutory Compliance:

To ensure 100% compliance to all the Statutes applicable to Factory and also with all work norms and work practices agreed in Long Term Settlement. Look over all legal cases including ID Cases.

Welfare & Corporate Social Responsibility

Take ownership in ensuring the welfare facilities such as Canteen, Restroom, Toilets and other requirements are provided as per the Factories Act, 1948 and maintain well in line with the Company philosophy. Ensure to drive equality in applicability of these facilities among all categories of employees including Contract Labour. To support CSR related initiatives in and around the Factory location in coordination.
