What you’ll be doing…

 

As a member of Verizon’s Analyst Relations team, you will elevate our presence in the market by communicating with the industry analyst community. You’ll ensure we’re represented in major industry reports and reviews while putting our message out in the market and sharing the ways we’re making businesses run faster, better, and smarter.

  • Ability to understand and articulate the organization’s technology offering and place in the ecosystem.
  • Ability to deliver business cases and points of validation.
  • Contribute to end-to-end execution of AR strategy.
  • Identify and foster relationships with key analysts.
  • Identify and support market-critical reports in relevant technologies.
  • Develop and deploy best practices for AR program engagement.
  • Connect with business stakeholders to understand evolving needs and trends.
  • Illuminate opportunities for competitive advantage using analyst insights.
  • Proactively reinforce vision and strategy in the market.
  • Think strategically and identify creative solutions.
  • Drive presence in industry-impacting reports like Magic Quadrants.
  • Develop and orchestrate message delivery for analysts.
  • Partner with strategy, marketing, and communications leads to align messaging.
  • Ability to distill complex topics into actionable feedback.

What we’re looking for…

 

You are curious about what people need and want. You enjoy digging through data for insight into opportunities for how we can help our consumers work, play and connect in new and better ways.

 

You’ll need to have:

  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience with industry analysts.
  • Experience within a leading technology or telecommunications company.
  • Experience supporting Executives or C-Suite leaders.
  • Experience crafting plans and moving places in MQs, WAVEs, MarketScapes, or other major analyst landscape reports.
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.

  • A Master’s degree.
  • Proficiency with Architect Database.

Pricing Senior Manager

As the global lead, you’ll play a key role in driving our pricing across the organization and in assuring that we deliver an unmatched customer experience at the optimal price.

You’ll help us find the right price for our products and services. You’ll work as a team to develop pricing and ensure that our price is competitive, meets client needs, and is profitable. You’ll make sure that what we offer is beneficial for both the client and us. You’ll work across business lines and across borders to ensure that each bid is aligned with our overall pricing strategy.

  • Developing and implementing a global pricing strategy for established and new offerings.
  • Crafting and reviewing client bids for a wide range of products and services.
  • Coordinating across Sales and Marketing along with external partners and responding to request-for-proposals.
  • Partnering with operations, engineering, and development teams to ensure that in the end, we will meet or exceed all customer expectations within the proposed budget.
  • Creating pricing guidelines and ensuring compliance.

 

What we’re looking for…

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with contract negotiations, pricing, and purchasing.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field like Business, Finance, or Economics.
  • Master’s degree – ideally an MBA.
  • Advanced analytical skills. And you are a wiz at Excel.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $97,000.00 and $181,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.

Business Account Specialist

You’ll be part of our State, Local and Education (SLED) Public Sector sales team, building our client-base and making our current customers even happier. You’ll have responsibility for prospecting, sales support and problem resolution for SLED accounts in your area. The client experience will be in your hands as you interact with customers and prospects to drive revenue growth and business success while ensuring outstanding customer service.

  • Prospect for new customers while partnering with the sales team to close opportunities.
  • Support account strategy with sales.

Installation & Maintenance Technician

  • Connecting, disconnecting, testing, repairing, maintaining, installing and rearranging Company and customer-provided equipment, inside wiring, and wires at poles, underground or building terminals.
  • Making necessary preparations required for splicing, rearranging and terminating cable conductors.
  • Installing, repairing, maintaining, and testing access lines for all types of equipment and technology.
  • Operating trucks and equipment needed to perform work operations in a safe manner.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering plans and vendor specifications.
  • Climbing ladders and poles, working aloft, perceiving differences in wire and cable colors, and distinguishing audio tones.
  • Working evenings, weekends, holidays and unscheduled shifts as determined by the needs of the business.
