Sr. Account Manager (Washington, DC)

Introduction to team

The Senior Account Manager’s primary responsibility is to develop and maintain a relevant, attractive and competitive portfolio of hotel and property products for Expedia Group’s fast-growing global customer base within their assigned territory.

 

In doing so, you will also continuously work with Expedia Group’s property partners to help them maximize the production potential from their participation in the Expedia Group marketplace by smartly utilizing the power of Expedia Group’s unique data insights, marketing, distribution and revenue management toolset.

 

 

The team ensures that Expedia Group’s global customers always find the most suitable property for their dream trip wherever they want to go, and that our hotel partners can effectively and efficiently reach Expedia Group’s full breadth of global traveler demand.

 

In this role, you will:

Consistently using data specific to your market available in Expedia Group’s proprietary market insights and activity prioritization, and demonstrating local market knowledge, Senior Account Managers will:

  • Develop and sustain strong partner relationships by providing relevant data insights and high-quality consulting services to hotel partners (revenue management advice, marketing opportunities)
  • Build the portfolio of local hotel partners by introducing prospective partners to Expedia’s marketplace and facilitate their onboarding process
  • Ensure that partner hotels’ products (content, rates and availability) are consistently optimized on the Expedia Group sites to maximize customer conversion
  • Secure additional lodging rates and availability information over high demand and compression periods to satisfy customers’ pressing needs
  • Secure seasonal deals and promotions within the guidelines set by management to support the brands’ merchandising and marketing efforts.
  • Continuously promote and develop hotel partners’ high engagement with Expedia’s full suite of:

 

  • Unique market insights (partner reports, competitive data, key performance drivers)
  • Revenue management tools (dynamic promotions, packages, fenced deals, mobile)
  • Marketing and merchandising opportunities
  • Specialized brands (e.g. Hotwire, MediaSolutions) potential opportunities
  • Self-service tools (Expedia Partner Central)

 

  • Represent Expedia in the local market, build Expedia’s company profile with key local influencers (e.g. tourism bureaus, hotel associations, etc.) and provide expertise to the local industry
  • Supply to cross-functional Expedia business initiatives; through initiation and planning stages to actively anticipate market impact and roll out plans
  • Provide ongoing input to senior management in developing effective and scalable solutions to improve process efficiencies
  • Provide coaching to colleagues (peers, Associate Market Managers, Market Associates) on standard methodologies
  • Other reasonable duties, as assigned

 

Experience and qualifications:

  • 4-6 years’ experience
  • Approximately 20 – 30% of travel for market visits

Senior Product Manager

The Supply Partner Experience team harnesses quantitative and qualitative inputs to optimize our supply partners’ success in Expedia Group’s marketplaces, from listing onboarding and readiness, to coaching, revenue management, as well as day-to-day business and guest management activities.

 

The Product Manager for this role will enable our supply partners to deliver promised travel products and services on the critical path for all lodging bookings in our marketplaces, which not only helps our supply partners, but travelers and Expedia Group. This high-impact role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with partner, traveler, and marketplace trust teams to build personalized, customer-focused experiences.   • Lead the development of a strategic product vision that addresses both short-term and long-term business and user requirements. Drive the creation of a strategic roadmap, communicating the narrative effectively.

  • Utilize knowledge of Expedia Group’s structure and key stakeholders to anticipate and plan for product strategy dependencies. The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $173,000.00 to $242,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $277,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

 

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.

Oracle Financial Functional Analyst III

Commerce Data and Finance Systems (CDFS) is dedicated to building the data and finance platform unlocking future capabilities to service the complex needs of our travel partners, customers, and suppliers. We are looking for a candidate with expertise in Oracle EBS R12 to play a key role in designing solutions in the Oracle Financial Modules.

 

In this role, you’ll be a critical member of a growing team working with the business and the technology teams chartered with designing and improving the financial systems solution for our ever-growing business needs.

 

A high performing individual contributor who will liaise with business stakeholders, product managers, program managers and developers to produce scalable, efficient and supportable solutions utilizing Oracle and related technologies and possess good integration knowledge.Also, acts as a mentor to more junior engineers

Segment Marketing (CRM) Senior Manager, Brand

In this role, you will:

 

  • Partner closely with Brand teams to determine the needs from TEaL to support emerging and planned strategies and activities in service of unique brand positioning. Bring the perspective of the art of the possible and the realities of the practical to senior level working groups. Aggregate and prioritize actions and integrate with work planning across TEaL. The core work to support Brands will be creating versions and approaches for campaigns working closely with other TEaL groups to both tap expertise and align on actions
