Position Details:
As a Branch Sales Associate – you will provide solutions and easily connect with walk-in customers by using guidance, knowledge, and a winning attitude. You will maximize sales opportunities, create customer loyalty, and exceed customer expectations. Throughout the day, you will need to shift focus from assisting customers to perform a variety of warehouse tasks. You will report to the Branch Manager.
You Will:
- Manage the entire customer experience. This includes appropriate product selection, accurate order entry, safely picking product, and safely loading customer vehicle
- Look for ways to maximize sales opportunities and encourage customer loyalty
- Adapt communication style to differing audiences in email, over phone, or in person
- Pick, prepare, and stage will call orders/shipping product
- Prepare customer backorders and put away other stock received
- Help with merchandising and perform showroom replenishment
- Perform inventory counts
- Learn and easily navigate through different computer systems for customer-facing and warehouse activities
- Perform housekeeping tasks to ensure branch appearance meets Grainger standards.
- Agree to safety guidelines and comply with all process standards including wearing personal protective equipment

Shoemobile Sales Rep
Work Location Type: Onsite
Position Details:
You will drive mobile shoe store (box truck, CDL not required but is a plus) to industrial customer job sites on pre-scheduled appointments to service company safety shoe benefit programs. Primary responsibility is providing exceptional customer service to company employees, no cold calling.
Compensation:
This position is salaried and will pay between $46,900 – $70,400.
You Will:
- Assist customer with selecting footwear and properly fitting with shoes/boots
- Maintain truck stock and inventory levels
- Process all customer orders, returns, and exchanges while on the Shoemobile.
- Comply with all Department of Transportation regulations regarding operating the Shoemobile in a safe manner at all times.
- Accurately maintain a DOT logbook in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Partners with Branch / DC for restocking / replenishment.
- Partner with our partner Truck Leasing for remote parking, fueling, and maintenance of Shoemobile
- Maintain clean and organized warehouse and SM showroom.
You Have:
- Technical abilities to navigate and update systems and tools
- Customer visits may require overnight travel Monday-Friday (average 1 to 2 overnights a week, might be 3 to 4 one week and 0 the week following, etc.).
- Comfort standing for several hours, including frequent bending or reaching.
- Main territory is approximately 150 mile radius.
- Steel Toe shoes are required to be worn at all times.
- Must pass physical and maintain a current medical card to drive Shoemobile.

Warehouse Associate Part Time
Position Details:
The Branch Warehouse Associate performs warehouse responsibilities to support inventory integrity, order processing – picking, packing, staging, and shipping, and general maintenance and housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe and clean work environment. You will report to the Branch Manager.
You Will:
- Receive product on DC Trailer and put away to maximize cube space,
- Receive product from Branch Transfers (UPS, and other Carriers) to fulfill customer orders.
- Receive product on Hub Truck (Same Day Pickup) and process customer backorders and branch stock replenishment to have product available for sale.
- Pick and Stage Will Call Orders to achieve company Will Call Ready Rate and Customer expectations.
- Pick and Prepare shipping Orders to meet shipping cutoff times and process according to all regulatory standards.
- Process Returns following BBX guidelines, referencing original documents, product disposition, and obtaining all necessary signatures.
- Prepare all Hazmat Orders and Next Day Air shipments observing all Dept of Transportation and Company Requirements
- Support team in the store to service customers. Replenish and maintain Showroom stock to create an appealing well stocked environment for customers
- Perform other tasks as directed by the leadership team
You Have:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Warehouse/ Material Handling Experience
- Operate Power Equipment including forklifts
- Operate Computerized scanning equipment and PC based programs
- Comfortable working on your feet with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and dust while working around moving equipment and elevated stations
- Frequently lift, slide and lower packages up to 50 pounds; packages on occasion can weigh up to 75 lbs. PIE operators are required to handle items up to 100 pounds.
- Receive feedback and work well in a team environment
On-Site Service Representative (Part Time)
Position Details:
The Onsite Services Representative (OSR) reports to a Supervisor or Manager of Onsite Services and supports assigned customers by managing their inventory, providing outstanding customer service, driving account growth though customers’ inventory management (KeepStock) program. Onsite Service Representatives (OSRs) also work with partners to implement sales strategy and to help customers understand how Grainger can provide solutions to their business’ MRO needs.
You Will:
CUSTOMER SERVICE
- Service multiple customer locations with the following specific responsibilities:
- Receive and stock purchased product in designated customer locations, ensure product stocking levels by scanning for ordering purposes as inventory is depleted
- Gain knowledge of Grainger’s offer to help improve orders through system integration.
- Resolve customer problems promptly to retain and promote customer loyalty.
- Follow designated route defined by routing software tools and maintain route guides.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities in productivity, process, and cycle time
- Comply with safety and inspection requirements of the facility where the service is being provided.
ACCOUNT GROWTH
- Help create new orders by engaging with customers to identify additional product needs
- Probes for customer needs during each site visit and works with sales partners to expand Grainger offerings
- Participate in quarterly reviews with customers and sales partners to assess viability of Inventory Solutions offerings
